Holy fucking shit, you are absolutely horrendus. I don't even see how it is possible to do that little of DPS. Do you just stare at your fucking screen like a down syndrome child and go OOOOOH PRETTY COLORS! Seriously, I quit before the auto attack increase change and fucking did 400 auto attacking. You're a fucking waste of space and disgrace to the troubador community.

Re: The DPS question
edit: My original point wasn't so much that troubs shouldnt contribute dps - but rather, when SOE looks at our class for tweaks/balancing, i dont think personal DPS should be the focus.
I think they had the right idea with jesters cap, and i'm sure with some creativity and vision they can conjure up other buffs that aren't fire and forget
that said, no punches pulled, god i love this forum.

Lalala...
No idea about Taylen's gear, but you know that is where people start out. Give a fresh level 70 Troub with 70% AD3 Windrazor and Absolution, give him starter KoS fabled/legendary + no buffs from the group (so STR/INT is maybe 380?), and maybe put him in a raid that does not debuff properly or has no Brig and 600dps is where he will end up.
Way to carry your head in the clouds, quitter...
General comment: Where the fuck does people's "you're only 95% as good as me hence you should quit"-attitude come from anyway?

Re: The DPS question
With legendary gear you get out of heroic instances and adept3s, 1k isn't impossible.

Re: The DPS question
Wish i woulda posted yesterday when i read dantz'z comment but i had to goto work. I'd have to say are dps and utility are right on for the moment. I love how ppl assume when i or others put up great dps numbers we are not doing are job buffing. If you are 5-700, whats your raid dps ? I'd hope not much more then 15-20k. My guild will hit 30-38k parses and put me up around 12-1700.
I guess the main thing i look at is dirges and chanters. I can't touch illusionist ( nerf/balance needed imo) but i always beat coercers and im rather upset if i see a dirge over me. Of course you have to look at buffs/gear ,but if around the same, you should always compete. Next tier we get few damage spell upgrades. We will have to see how this works out ,but T6 was not that bad and its very similar to that.
When i look at dantz's utility list i have 1 major problem. Out of the 12 he listed 5 are from AA. We may be balanced for utility but to do it we have to spec that way. I'd much rather see us just have these abilitys and not have to spec to them to be wanted in a raid. Tho are class is certainly not the worst when it comes to this we are pretty bad.
I think someone already touched on this , it is are dynamic spells that need the most improvement. I like it to actually matter when i cast my spells instead of just spamming them when they are up. Balance potm with cob and give us atleast 1 more dynamic and i'd be happy. We are gimped compared to dirges atm. CoB with current aa and gear is way overpowered. They can cast it like every 30s now. How the fuck soe balanced" haste/dps then gave them better haste ill never know. Now lets compare 5 spell range to trigger chance......WTF!
I've said this before but troubs have become 1 trick ponies while dirges are wanted by 3 groups in the raid. To fix this I'd suggest more dynamic spells. 5 minute + recast spells that matter is what im talking about. Tank is going down cast dynamic, oop cast dynamic, big ae coming cast dynamic, mage grabs aggro cast dynamic, or just something that mattered when i cast it. As it is right now it either cast it and forget it or spam it whenever its up.

Re: The DPS question
1 - No i'm not going to ask more troubbies to quit the game, i love paying mine...i log on and i get asked to join raids
2 - I didn't say anything is wrong with what Shac does..he's a good troub, i'm not denying it..but we used to fight it out when he was in KotWS, and he's even said he's a DPS troubby with the buffs...where as i like to buff

Re: The DPS question
Try making sure your mental debuff and dancing blade are the first things you apply - then zanders if you're the one in charge of that - it'll greatly help your personal dps if you debuff fully.
400 is a bit shabby tbh (no need to get defensive.. just saying there's a lot of room for improvement)... What weapons do you have? Do you still have your Mystical Orb of the Invoker and other proc items? You should easily be able to do 750+ on a properly debuffed mob, the difficulty comes in getting that bit more - like nudging over the 1k mark.
