doubleattack (1h+Shield) or dw?

Hello

this is about AA spec:

STA 4-4-8-8 (and 1 going to bow) for self double attack 54% or

STA 4-4-4-8 (and INT 4-1) going dual

I just wonder if 54% doubleattack with a decent 1h and roundshield is better than DW.

Any ideas?

I think most have found that the 1h, shield and 54% double attack isn't as strong as the dual wields, but it really depends on the quality of your weapons.

When I tested this line out, I got more dps out of going dual wield with it...

My weapons at the time were GDoH/Dirk of Nightfall, and my roundshield/1hander were Right Hand of the Priestess and the T5 CL instance shield for the damage proc...

The 1.0 delay was probably the reason for the loss in dps compared to the GDoH/DoN because of spells and such.
