Master drops in a random pug, not a single member from Chosen Few is in the group. It's a FFA roll, I win.

A few members proceed to crucify me, subtly saying that if I don't hand it over, don't expect shit from them in the future. I never expected anything but a spot in the raid, from time to time. I rarely spoke to anyone, and usually did my own thing (solo, pug group). Upon joining Chosen Few, I was never told that handing out masters was a requirement. I was promptly removed from the guild after hastily responding to some of the abrupt comments several members made.

Future applicants of Chosen Few: I hope you can tolerate a guild-leader with just enough brain matter to grease the dynamo on a lightening bug's ass.

I doubt you will get much sympathy here. It is generally accepted in most guilds that it is share and share alike, unless otherwise specifically stated. If you get a master spell another guildie can use, you give it to them, and they do the same for you.

If they have the spell already and don't need it, most will have no problems with you selling it or whatever you wanna do, my own guild, we try and give all masters that aren't needed to the guild to trade for masters we DO need. The whole point of having a guild is so you can help out each other.

I made one comment during that discussion, and it wasn't even mean (I said that he was doing a fine job of the "reputation" portion of his next guild app) and he came here, looked up posts about me, and then sent me tells to tell me i was fat Its a good thing, sometimes i forget

Different guilds have different rules, and if they had a rule about donating masters to the guild they had every right to kick you. Even if you didn't know the rule beforehand, if you were informed there was a rule about sharing masters among the guild, and still didn't/wouldn't comply, then you're in violation, and you get the boot. It's pretty simple to understand.

I don't think it was a written rule. Don't know, don't care. This would've been best left to the wind. Don't ruin your reputation anymore than it already is. Give it some time, keep your mouth shut and most people will move on. Keep feeding it, and they'll assrape you. Force you lock your eq2players account and reroll.

Some guilds don't have rules that state you must donate masters. It's a good thing to do and will help the guild in the long run, but it's not really expected. At least not by me.

Ive given masters not only to guildies but friends too (this was of course back when i had both guildies and friends).. i dunno i guess to me its just a pixel and it really doesnt matter.
