Detailts.. afaik

Dissolution and Second dawn decided they weren't happy with the current incarnations of their guilds (for what reason, I don't know, but I imagine something wasn't satisfying all parties if they took the drastic step of merging and server xferring en masse)

Dissolution and SD merged and became a new guild - Confirmed

Dissolution and SD migrated en masse to the Unrest servers because they had all heard legendary tales of cyborz from Thundaarr, and wanted to come witness firsthand my awesomeness.

No, I'd say no. Confirmed is comprised of top talent, all hardcore, capable raiders, whereas TDS was a hasbeen guild looking for a way to get back on top with half skilled hardcore, and half decent casual raiders. We tried to hard to get TDS to its T5/6 glory, and the ship crashed.
