Well I think I am out for now - my laptop is not going to handle that. It does handle EQ2 fine, but it seems AoC might be a little more intensive.

Don't have my PC setup atm - but playing at work would have worked out better for me anyway lol....

Serest is dum. If you can run EQ2 fine, you can run AoC fine. It has a much better graphics engine.

hmmm...If I played any pvp of the sort (did for Eq2) doesn't it benefit much more to wash the graphics out, remove the shadows and turn them to, I guess 'shit'? It was easier for me to survey my area that way, if I gotta be on the look-out for enemies. Old Q3 habit I guess...but it sure enhances your offensive ability lol.

ie. the command /r_picmip "X" that infamously got dubbed Lego-Settings.

Aye if you can run eq2 then you can run AoC. The engine is much better on the optimization front. Every patch during the beta has increased performance drastically, so it seems they know what they're doing with making the game more playable. And with over 2 million pre-orders, they can certainly afford to keep up the good work.

Charlotte play on the Tyranny server. Anyone else that is playing pvp is welcome to come to the Tyranny server as well, we have about 52 folks starting there atm.
