Ok maybe not crumbled but have 5 people left, which is prety much the same thing.

True.

From what I was told, one Guild Leader stepped down and hasn't logged in for three weeks. The other Guild Leader was around 25% raid attendance and refused to hand over the reigns. The officers were not given any rights to update the website or dkp for almost two weeks. Oh, and I also heard some of these officers were promoted against their will or without being asked. IMO Dominion was doomed back on Mother's Day, when the people who were the real backbone got tired of carrying the load.

I wish the best of luck in finding a knew home to those who left or have no place else to go.

False.

You were told wrong. I have been on vacation and had left people in charge of things in my absence. The other guild leader who has 25% attendance only has that low attendance because whoever was doing DKP some nights didn't give him credit for playing his alt.

Basically, you're hearing things wrong, but I'm not surprised given the circumstances of it all. And please don't discredit any of the original 6 officers; everyone from that group put their heart and soul into that guild, and I would stop anyone from saying that even you didn't really care about the guild.

And nobody was made an officer without their consent. Blayde had expressed time concerns about being an officer, but he readily accepted the position. Nobody else ever expressed any concerns about being an officer.

And our raiders STILL have a home and will always have a home here at Dominion. And we have much more than 5 people. :-) Anyway, it's just drama-rousing stuff that's circulating, but here are the facts...do with them what you will.

I don't usually post, but I had to respond to what you said Thadd. Before posting anything, you should have talked to your friends in Dominion and get both sides of the story. You know damn well I wouldn't have sugar coated the situation. There was a disagreement as to what direction the guild headed and who was going to lead it. As to the DKP stuff, it wasn’t updated for 3 days. That was due to RL issues an officer needed to take care of. I won’t go any deeper into it; however, when you say things like you do and start a flame because you have beef with one or both of the leaders, think about the others you hurt when you spew incorrect information. You said yourself you would never stoop to that level that you are bigger than that. How things have changed my friend… All I can say is I guess you couldn't resist slamming the leaders of Dominion. I believed you were bigger than that.

You're goddamn fucking right we did, which it was why it was so hard to push that button on Mother's Day.

I have seen things fall apart 3 times now and did not feel the need to /deguild until this time.

Whatever the reasons the "leadership" and the people under them could never seem to get on the same page. Lack of leadership is something that can and will doom a guild, I had hoped it would work its self out but in the end the third time was the charm for me.

I don't wish ill to anyone who left or to anyone who has stayed in Dom, but there comes a point when you have to accept you probably aren't getting farther than you are. My previous guild had the same problem, there just weren't people to replace ANYONE who left even with active cross server recruiting, let alone when most of the guild leaves, and it has been so in Dom lately, hardly having enough to raid many nights.

If you are really going to rebuild it, MUCH luck, you'll need it.

I'm sticking to my long, maybe forever, break from raiding so I'm just casually playing and I'm loving the freedom.
