well I've seen SK's kick ass in EoF but that player was the Sciomar equivalent to SKs.. Never thought I'd see an SK out tank a zerker let alone a guardian too and MT EH and all zones at 70.

Again that was only one but it can be done if the player has a clue.

I am going to go with the Zerker and Guardian fucking sucked balls if a SK out tanked them. I don't mean the Sk wasn't good - it's just that for them to out MT a guardian or zerker the other tanks must have had an extra chromosome.

Actually the guard was a bad ass he LD'd on a pull and held aggro for the whole fight. But if he dropped the SK got it NP everytime.

It's true that in terms of a theoretically optimized raid configuration, you won't find a lot of Crusaders, nor Summoners or Druids for that matter. In terms of an ideal configuration, I think Kall was pretty much spot on here http://www.eq2flames.com/combat-disc...id-groups.html

However, as far as I'm concerned, that does not mean that other classes won't get a shot. If you only look for classes to fit the ideal configuration, you run the risk of missing out on a great player who might just be playing a less then ideal class.

While the aforementioned is, in my opinion, the ideal configuration, there are many highly successful guilds out there running less then ideal configurations. In fact few, if any, guilds are currently running ideal builds. In the end it comes down to the skill of the player, and I'll take a fantastic player of a suboptimal class over a mediocre player of an ideal class any day of the week.

I miss raiding on the SK. It was a lot of fun. The mystic wasn't quite the same ya know hehe. I think they need to make the SK mythical turn Death March into a raid wide buff, ala Dirge and Troubs. Then you'd see more "Currently Recruiting: Paladin ShadowKnight"

Seriously though, we totally derailed this recruitment thread. WIN!

I prefer to think of it as free publicity and friendly bumps as opposed to derailing. Also, since I'm new to the server having spent the past 4 years on Mistmoore, it's giving me a chance to get to know some of the personalities here, which is a good thing.
