I guess it would depend on how you define casual. By more then casual I mean this is a guild that is raiding and will continue to raid and enjoy progression. Many guilds that define themselves as casual do not raid at all, but rather disdain the raid mentality. This doesn't fit us, as we rather enjoy raiding be it T5 or T8, and that's precisely why we plan to continue to raid actively at all tiers of content of which we are capable.
By non-hardcore the inference is, we are not out to barnstorm through endgame in some quixotic attempt to be first. That isn't to say we won't do the content, as we plan to raid any and all content in the game of which we are capable. However, there will never be a seven day a week raid schedule here or a phone bank for contested.
Also we don't only raid contemporary content. Many of us who did T5, T6 and so forth the first time around have enjoyed revisiting the content. Those who are new are getting a chance to see some classic raids they might never experience otherwise.
Level 40 is a good entry point for us at this time, because it allows a new recruit some time to assimiliate into the guild and get to know everyone a bit before coming along on one of our Tier 5 raids and progressing from there into the later tiers.
