The reality is, being good at eq2 = same amount of time raiding in a long-term period as casuals, with more loot being gotten, and at the end less raiding in the same period of time, while at the start more raiding. Though I've never raided 8 hours in 1 day this expansion, soo.

There are flaws in the link that I posted. Mathematical and otherwise. The point being made was that over the long haul bleeding edge guilds typically spend less time raiding. Some of that is a function of raiding more efficiently, more loot from past content/expansions, etc. That said they are also in competition for WW first kills and as such the initial push through content can and does lead to more time being spent when learning new encounters. My point was that some people don't have that time or are unwilling to allocate that time for video games. To each their own though.

Isnt there a new expansion sometime between now and january? By this point in this expansion I bet Confirmed spends less time raiding in a week than most of you losers spend shouting in the public channels for someone to please help you with a easy, soloable, 10 month old quest or for a group to get some xp that you desperately still need.
