What's the deal with Unrest?

I'm sifting through the official server forums as well as the eq2flames server forums. It seems like this server is one of the more active, and the Guides seem especially active.

Just wondering if anyone's moved to / rerolled here and found it to be preferable to a server they were on before, for whatever reasons (i know it can be very subjective). I'll probably just roll a toon there later and check it out.

cliffnotes version is: i'm on AB and I'm looking for a busy server without all the "i rp because vs. i don't rp because" nonsense.

I heard our server is more active than others but I've always been here.

Also I've only seen a guide twice and I've played since release.

I used to see guides all the time when I played. Befriended one and talk to him every now and then on AIM. It's a fairly active server.

I moved from Splitpaw. This is more active, but less raid-centric.. i.e. fewer guilds dedicated to clearing raid content on a regular basis.

I see guides a lot.

Unrest was one of the few servers which didn't get merged with another back around DoF launch or whatever. It was one of the original servers that launched the day the game was released.

The server I came from (Steamfont, at the time) was a ghost town in comparison.

The server is great till you are at level 50-68 and its total shit trying to level.

50-60 is the worst once you get 61 it gets better imo.
