It's interesting to see another guild try to form up, but I'm afraid of two things. 1) The lingering smell and 2) What did I miss that there's a guild trying to split off of Confirmed, UHT, and who the hell is Strike? (Guild from another server?)

I'm going to get flamed for not being in-game for 6 months but this thread sparked my interest and an urge to try and find out what the hell I've missed.

It's not a split off from any guild.

The leadership in this guild is ex-HW / Confirmed / Strike, with a desire to do a casual schedule (PDT).

Strike is a guild on Lucan D'Lere, Hallowed Wrath is a guild on Mistmoore, and obviously Confirmed is on Unrest - that's it.

Ah, right on. Good luck. It looked like a split when I initially read it and to make matters worse when I read Hallowed Wrath I associated Hallowed Triad or whatever the name of that guild was.

It's the latest trend in eq2, the hardcore yet casual guild! Everytime I think of that description I get this image of fuzzy bunnies carrying m16's. I'm wondering what's gonna happen when xpac hits though. It's all fine and dandy for all these ex hardcore server/world first raiders to be hangin with their casual crew now, takin it chill and not worrying about who kills what first... Cuz THIS xpac is almost dead and none of it really matters anyways.

What about next xpac when these people who are used to their firsts stand 0 chance of getting them raiding 3x a week? I'm betting at least 5 of the FT hardcores who went casuals, start tryin to find another full time hardcore guild right before xpac hits. Just call it a funny feeling I have... You know it's gonna drive you guys nuts... sitting there reading Flames, seeing other guilds people whom you've known and competed against for years, clearing x and y mob... and oh look, your guild just killed the first mob and stuck on the 2nd one cuz it's WAY too hard for a casual guild to cope with. Ya, i'm betting a few of you cave in before xpac goes live.

They could always join confirmed who seem to be taking anyone in nowadays, at least until another new "hardcore" guild forms on unrest and takes it over.

I think were up to 3 guilds that have formed from Ex-confirmed members now. Four if get technical to the bone. Confirmed is just trying to fully replace their original roster and not turn back....or something.
