Ok ok...Titles

Now...before Fabio or anyone else says "Venekor sucks", I dont care. Its not my main server, I am just fooling around, but I may take your less than sublte advice and move the Nagy next time the transfers are free. Now...on to the point:

I have looked and looked (maybe just blind) but cant find anything that says exactly how the title thing works. Or at what point Hunter becomes slayer ect. Is it Kill vs Death ratio, Lucanic/Antonican Kinght faction? Someone wanna explain it?

Second question: Other than getting hit with the carnage flag, why wouldnt I want to do a little "hit and run action" in the city's. So other than potentialy getting nailed balls first to the Qeynos gates by a player 30 lvls higher than me....why not go in and grab a few lvl apropriate kills while they think they are safe? Is there really any detrimental effects?

Titles are fickle creatures... while most of us know HOW they work, no one has the numbers for the thresholds between titles. Basically you can get 'fame' (infamy) for killing people with the same title, or one higher/lower. For instance a Slayer can take fame from Hunters, Slayers and Champions. After a certain amout of fame 'hits' you get a shiny new title.

The reason you don't usually want to do a little 'hit and run action' is this: You can't actually attack anyone who doesn't attack you first. If you want to kill someone in their city, you first have to get them flagged. To do this, they must attack someone with a carnage flag. So if you go into the city, you wont be able to attack anyone until AFTER they attack you. If that someone is 30 levels above you, you just basically gave away a free kill.

Fame leechers are also looked down upon. Titles are pointless when you got them by being a pussy.

It's either done auto-matically, or else I'm blind and can't find the option to do it. The entire time i spent in Shadow's of Storm, my info here said I was still in Dauntless.

Click the Private Messages tab where you log in, click personal info or something along that line and change it.

Since when a Slayer can take fame from Champ? Guess you mean Destroyer ?
