So AoC was released 5-20. Someone found an exploit where you could make as much coin as you wanted and level to 80 pretty damn fast.

May 27th the patcher read something along the lines of -

"Someone found an exploit, and as a result, these people will have their characters changed (items or money purged), and or have their account suspended or banned"

Wait, you mean they didn't say "We'll look into this, and you'll never know what sort of action was taken, and it'll just probably be ignored anyways"?

And soon LU 46 for EQ2 is coming. Now every named in RoK instances will give status, there's a "live event (annoying NPC's spamming you all day for house items? YAY!" And new content! And by new content, I mean yet another re-used old zone that no one liked. Runnyeye 2!. Now RE2 might end up fairly decent, I suppose, but what ever happened to Kurn's Tower?

Anyway, I log into AoC today, and on the patcher, it says -
1)We are fixing things you report with /bug
2)We are adding new content for mid-late 30's and mid-late 50's, as well as PvP content, A new outdoor zone, and adding more support people etc etc.

Don't get me wrong, I still play eq2 and all that, and am not saying eq2 sucks or whatever, but we have a receiving info bug ~ 2 weeks old, so many issues with LG, and stale content that just gets reused for the most part.

Is sony *trying* to lose customers? Seriously, they need to wake the fuck up, with AoC doing quite a few right things and WAR around the corner, you'd think they'd make more of an effort.

Not to defend SoE or anything but those zones that are being added to AoC are actually two weeks late not new content.


And yes SoE does need to wake up. AoC took a lot of their customers away and Warhammer is going to be knockout blow for them if something is not done soon.

They did a survey and asked which of all the old zones were people's favorite on the forums.

The poll came up with the answer Runnyeye.

Personally, I loved Runnyeye and I'm excited about it.

I used to love Runny Eye myself. I solo'ed it for like six months straight it was pretty much the best PvE challenge I ever had. Also had some fun times PvP wise trying to wipe the Q groups that were always in there.

Like I said, its another revamped zone.

And ok, obano, if the stuff they are adding is late, lets compare. 2 weeks late til..................How long as RoK been out? Again, not bashing eq2, just wish the game was in better hands than sony's. I played EQ1 when it was verdant, maybe thats why I see such a failed "sequel" in eq2
