Re: NECRO
It's so funny some of the haters and hate I see projected in Flames. It's strange to see that some honestly do take this "game" a lot more seriously than others.
I don't post to often on Flames because I'm so busy in my RL that I don't want to waste time on the forums, I'd rather play. So, Anjul, just for you taking the time to post a thread about toons, their abilities, or how you owned someone in one fight, is actually props to that individual or team.
All in all, it comes down to the game play and the friendships and hatreds in game. I do dislike a few toons in game, not because I think they're assholes, and not because I think their hacking, but because they have mastered their ability to play their specific toon/class well...more than I have.
It isn't an issue of ganking individuals or them ganking me...it's all about the situation at hand. Did I jump them and surprise them? Did they surprise me? Did they catch me with my evac down (oh shit!)? It's all in skilled gameplay.
I give credit to many of the freeps and exiles out there for mastering their toon (Morrias, Raw, Kalgore, Deathe, Emolad, Kcirtap, Shook, Gokol, Janokee (sp?), to name a few), but in the end, it's just a game. Sometimes they get me, sometimes I get them...it's all about situation, timing, and "getting the jump".
It's strange how we have a life on this server... and what we look forward to when we log on. When PVPing, there are specific guys that I look for, Morrias being one (he's a good guy, and love to one v one him), but without these guys for me to look forward to facing, the game, to me, would be boring. So instead of trying to deface the individuals you are fighting on a daily or weekly basis, you should credit the battle(s) that you are having, and look forward to the next one. If you haven't noticed, the population of our server has decreased since the release of AOC, and I miss some of the guys that I use to take on all the time, via one v one. I miss the organized 6v6 battles, and raid v raid battles we use to have.
So my advice to you Anjul, is just master your toon better. I have no issues taking on anyone in game in honorable one v one. It's just a training session for me to get better. Learn from your friends, read the forums, and play your toon to the best of your ability. Bump titles, I could really care less about my title (and certain individuals know this), I like the tokens...lol.
Cya in game man...I'll be looking for you....for you all! LOL...cya guys!
