Question for wardens out there with a full set or close to it of eof gear. Have any of you respec'd to the int line to take advantage of the int on the eof set and went back to casting instead of melee? Starting to get my eof set and was wondering for adornments. Should I add more int or try to recover some str that I lost. I know we will never have killer dps but a little extra dmg on trash mobs is always nice instead of just watching.

I got STA INT lines but not respecced cause gear :P

Never use the fabled EOF set for dps on trash, d'ont matter if melee specced or not, me a nuking warden on int line but was melee AAs before.

The key its made 2 (or more) macros for equip gear:

- one macro for "DPS gear"
- another macro for "Heal gear"
- can made more for example "DPS gear to vampires" adding the vampires set

The fabled EOF set its not the best u can use (at all) for max our dps on trash, even if u got INT AAs, i have full EOF set and on the DPS gear macro i only equip a few set pieces, rest its mainly gear on damage procs or +damage, if u are melee specced need gear on STR or gear on melee procs.

When i know i need max heal power its when use the "Heal gear macro" and use the full eof warden set, cause the proc on group healing can made around 14-15% of my raw healing parse alone.

U c'ant use the macros "on combat" cause the game equip delays, or can use, but spamming the button till all gear its switched. Usually u know when gonna need to max our heal or when only need to dps, before start any encounter. D'ont need to put "all gear" to equip on the macro, only the pieces u switch, there its always some pieces u use on both roles.

I also use all my heals on macros, every time i cast Verdant Bliss i equip relic pants cause the bonus its really good, so i not have the spell verdant bliss on the hotbar, i have a macro who equip relic pants and cast verdant bliss at same time.

The same procedure for Fierce Chlorostorm, i not have the spell on the hot bar, but a macro who equip the EOF pants on the bonus and cast the group regen. I do the same on Greater Chloroplast (the single regen) equipping the EOF pants, to make sure i have 5 pieces equipped to get the bonus.

Not sure if i explained well, my English sucks hehe, the point its having every heal on macros equipping the right gear to maximize that spell, and other heals on equip back the gear u prefer use all the time. Can do the same procedure for the nukes equipping "power proc" items.

i posted parses on SOE forum on INT aa lines who show how much Infussion from INT line can do if u spam spells, even got a warning for call someone dumb :P if u wanna see there its the thread:

I used to be STR/INT lines before my guild asked me to respect STA/AGI. I used to do a decent amount of damage, too.

I'm very happy that they're going to have a duo tree spec when the new expansion comes out because I really REALLY miss that spec set up. Infusion used to proc with STR heal, making you a DPS machine. *sighs* Ah well, It was nice while it lasted.

I am str/int lines and i love it. Have to have the ability to get your int and str up through your gear to make it worth it as well thou. I switched to this because I was getting very bored raiding when no one needs heals and wanted to put out as much damage as i could. Did recently respec to try and help with mischief and for Fear last week, but am now back to str/int for a while.

I tried INT the other day for a nest solo run (I am current melee spec STR / AGI). I tried INT because I read on both these forums and SOE official forums that Infusion would proc off Natural Boon. They must have changed something though, because I did not see Infusion procing off of Natural Boon at all throughout the entire zone. Manastone, power clickies, potions, Signet of Light from Dark... Those all proced Infusion. The 'free heals' however (Natural Boon, Spores, any healing proc gear) do not trigger Infusion anymore (at least for me in Nest).

They nerfed it? I don't remember reading anything about that. I'll be so pissed if they ninja nerfed it.

I won't be able to really give it a good test run until the new expansion comes out. Which is fine... I wanted to get some STR gear to switch out when I needed too, anyway.

Thanks for the heads up, though. Now I'm gonna have to investigate this.
