Default Are my CA's Spells?

I am switching to a melee spec with my warden. I have a feeling that in some way my AA CA's that come from my spell nukes still count as spells in certain ways. What I am wondering is whether other AAs like Stormcallers Control (Increased Spell Crit chance) will benefit my melee CA's. I am also wondering if these CA's can proc my spell proc gear like BCG, Fitzpizzles and so on.

Lemme know.

Thanks

They are combat arts not spells so spell crit will not benefit your melee.

Default Re: Are my CA's Spells?

Your CAs only let procs go off if the desription of the item says,
  • chance to proc on combatart
  • or chance to proc on melee attack (if description of CA says melee attack, crushing, slashing etc doesnt count, must say melee). thats for Nature Blade, Primordial Strike, and the int one
Also the +spell damage doesnt effect your cold/heat damage. they are affected by your melee crits though.
