Because they say Its "Tree 2.0" doesn't mean it IS infact the same fucking spell.

They are two different spells that practically do the same thing and are equally shitty is what that poster meant.

I don't know why you guys wasted two pages complaining about the spell instead of describing what it does... but for those who care, I guess I'll share what 5mins in beta told me.

It lasts for over 90 seconds left alone, has 12k health at Master if not. When it dies, it heals AE for 750-950ish... AE means not just group members but may be restricted to 8 targets. Every 2 seconds it heals its target for 330-380ish and seems to have a 100% proc to heal an additional 150-180. I can't figure out the exact circumstances of the healing proc. It used it 100% of the time when healing me. When healing itself, it did not use it.

I think WHAT it does is pretty cool, i just wish it was something other than a friggn fairy. I can tell you what my macro will say, " my fairy is healing you while i'm playing with my dollies". i would much rather have a dog like the Shammys, or ANYTHING but a friggin fairy.

It looks like the golden EF fairies. It's very useful for heroic/solo content (same as wardens) but becomes less useful or wanted for raids (same as wardens).

Also too bad it's lvl 80. Many of the cool uses it has are not as needed once you hit 80.

The 12K HP means nothing since it has NO mitigation and will die in any raid AE. Also the fact that it heals when it dies means nothing either, the heal is not that massive and it's slow and expensive to cast. Unless it stays up awhile it is not mana efficient.

Several of us proposed ideas that the 7 set fabled ability should make the fairy immune to AE or maybe at least boost it's mitigation/HP's enough to survive 1 AE and stay up long enough to make it worth the time/power to cast. So far SOE has not even posted that they'd test that idea.

In my 5mins of testing, it was evident that it certainly did have mitigation. For instance, in RoK raid fabled gear, the test mobs hit me for 327 avg. "NO mitigation" would mean it would be easily hit for twice that wouldn't it? The persona said I was mitigating 55% of L80 mobs after all. The fairy was only hit for 486 avg though.

Though for the rest of the post... truthfully, I think most classes would love to get their spells before 80.

So it having much less mitigation means it doesn't have 12K HP as someone posted. Either way that doesn't help the fairy survive whether it's low HP or low mitigation. The point is it's another warden ability that has little use in raids. So you guys can sit here arguing semantics or you can submit some feedbacks asking for something that allows that fairy to stay alive on raids. /shrug

Like I said some ideas were to change 7 set fabled to make it so that the fairy is immune to AE. Or you can ask for AA's that do the job or even just ask that the fairy be naturally immune. This is something SOE can do easily. There are already pet caster AA's that do this. It's something SOE already knows how to code. Personally I think the 7 set piece is best option.
