Why is it dumb to agree that Healers need to be more focused on healing than with DPS?

I didn't say that! Who said people need to "focus" on their DPS anyways? Can't people do something without getting overrun with it? ie, Oh man heals are up/not necessary atm, nuke! They are necessary right after the nuke, don't keep nuking. Heal.

I get tired of having to make up the difference when a supposed healer is not healing but trying to make parse,,

The point is not that its not effective to dps when you dont need to be healing. the point is that the warden class has far more serious problems than our dps that need to be focused on as a priority.

Because SoE can't make up it's fucking mind what they want the Wardens to do.

"Defensive Druid"... Really? Where are our fucking group/raid wide buffs that state this?

"Melee Druid" ...Really? Why does our set gear go against this, then? And why don't we have group/raid wide buffs that go along with this?

Until SoE gets their fucking act together with this class, some of us will walk down the Melee path as confused healers. If they don't know, how the fuck are we supposed to know what our roles are?

The concept of a melee druid is fucking rediculous to begin with. I understand its hard to make defined unique classes when the game has twice the number of classes it should but people need to understand that the effective classes for raiding are classes with a very specific role the classes that half ass 3 different things suck ass almost every time. A melee healer is a fucking stupid concept I guess i miss the days of eq1 when clerics just healed and dps just did dps. Oh and druids sucked on raids then too ... shocking.

Yell at SoE for giving us the melee option, then, not players choosing the path.

Look plain and simple maybe not on names but on trash fights you are going to have time to dps. If ya dont have it while you are breakin the content ya will when ya get it all on farm status. Are other classes more useful , sure, but this is the class i chose and while there are many occaions where other classes are more useful there are also times where wardens(yes us) are useful .
If ya need a 3rd healer in the MT group ya want us for what we do for the tank/other healers and yes when we do have our time to dps melee is the only INTELLEGENT option . I can squeeze off 6 melee attacks in the time it takes to pop off 2 spell attacks which if ya do the math means you are slidin more dps in between heals here and there where ya can.
Should we focus on our dps in raid situatons ,no not really, do i have an entore seperate set of brawler gear i keep for farmin instances? You bet your sweet ass i do and when were bored 2 groupin eof for beer money you better belive im blingin it and breakin 2k

And plan and simple yeah when it all comes down to it once shit is on farm status sure ya donet need us ,sure other classes would fit the slot better and be more beneficial to the raid as a whole.......but fuck em i like raidin and will do my best to make my spot as useful as possible
