It's a body drop off of him. Meaning, the piece you want is in the chest he drops. It can be anyone's epic piece they need. I've done PR several times now and mine hasn't dropped yet. It was a warlock drop last time. So, yeah... it's very possible it could be awhile before you get your drop.

A body drop means that its on his corpse, NOT the chest...

And the raid leader can loot and asign it to you, you dont have to do it yourself.

Well, was the loot set to leader only and you weren't the leader? If so, the leader can click the corpse and loot it to you. Should be two of the first update (and one each of the second and the third per kill when you get to those mobs later).

Additionally, are you sure you have the quest to get the mythical in your journal? The items won't drop otherwise.

Yep, it's in my journal... and all the rest was dbl checked. There was just no loot option for me. Yet, our warlock got his drop for his mythical from his chest, not body.

Bugged? I don't know, I'll try it again this week.

Some are auto updates, some drop in chests, some drop from bodies and some are clickies in the zone -- depends on the class. I'm not really sure what you mean by "no loot option for me," though. It makes it sound like you think you should have had control over looting it before the looting restrictions were off the corpse. (I'm assuming you had leader only loot set and you weren't the leader.)

If the corpse was opened by the person who could loot and nothing was in there (you should get text popping up with what's in there, same as you would for a chest), then something went wrong. You could possibly petition it, but since the update is temporary and no-zone, I doubt CS can help you even if they wanted to.

One other possibility is that if loot options weren't set to leader only, someone bugged it by trying to loot the corpse prematurely. While SOE did a good job making sure this couldn't happen with the heroic updates, it's possible they overlooked this for a raid update or two. I do know it's been a problem in the past with updates coded so only select people can see them, like language quest drops where the wrong person opening the corpse will cause the item to disappear.

So be sure leader only loot is set and the leader is the one to open the corpse next time. And if it's still not in there, document that with /report and screenshots and /petition it right away.

we had open loot first time we did overking. so the other warden on the same step got the item and i saw only the msg that she looted the item. no popup.

Random loot settings at wasp queen, made us both, again on the same step, seeing the item. No other raidmember could see the bodydrop. i think its the same at overking.

So only epicquester on the correct step can loot/ see the item.

Right, my point was it's theoretically possible on some loot settings that someone bugged the drop even without being able to see the update in there. It's happened to me before with other drop types like this, though I think SOE fixed most such cases.

All three of my updates were looted to me by the raid leader with leader only loot set. Unless they changed something in the last week or so, the leader can see this item to assign it without being on the quest. (And this has been the case of all other body and chest drops.)
