1.I always am in mt group and target thru MT unless named which I target thru mob.
2. Hot's and then melee, unless fight with high damage ae, which i will max range and use my spells to add my little amount of dps
3.If not in mt group natural boom goes along way in keeping my group healed along with the group hot
4.Most raids I am always in my healing gear, for that is my role. On some trash i may keep a few melee pieces on, all depends on zone i guess. Depending on your gear, i would say that if melee can go in on the mob you should be fine in there as well. Stick to following your troub and dirge, not your brig and assasin on that one thou.

Thanks for the info Domona, I maxed out my spores to check it out.

From my original experiences with the cure line is that they are crap. I invested in them and saw little gains for my investment. Went to the CA line, but for a raiding warden I didn't see any gains from those abilities. They aren't like the druid str where you get a definite benefit, Natural Boon. The only thing that the CA line gives you is a quick way to finish off HOs. I'm working on testing the the knockback on epic thing. Some of the ones I've made sure to invest in, spores, sow, bat, tree (i use it alot), potf.

My guild leader asked me to go down the melee line in EoF tree, which I have done. To balance it out I ended up going with the Str line in KoS and currently I am playing around with the build in the Str line to find the better combo setup. My other tree in Kos is the anti-knockback/anti-root.

For me the melee line is more fun going toe to toe with the trash mobs then the nuking line. I am slowly building up melee gear and hoping for some very good one hander slash healer items to be put in. I also wish for a two-hander for wardens to use, healer built of course...lol.

You sound like you have a cool guild leader. Unfortunately though, it can't be expected that an 1hs raid drop will go to a Warden, and if you outbid a dps class for a 1hs then look to get some ridicule I would imagine, especially if it was an upgrade for them. The str AA line does have benefits, but from my tests and parses those benefits only outweigh ranged healing when the weapon is quick. Unfortunately there is no itemized Warden 1hs. Until they put one in specifically for Wardens, then you're going to find yourself taking a back seat to other dps classes when it comes to loot distribution. I do wish they'd give us something though. We get a great line to melee with, but no melee weapon tailored to a Warden/Melee style. The weapon doesn't even have to do a lot of damage, just be really fast so the proc goes off enough to make it work going in toe to toe.

Aye... agree I will get left over one-handers over dps classes. That will go without saying. I am currently using Fated Cipherblade and have adorned it with the proc off of benefical spells for power. The delay is 1.6 but the damage is 72.1. I built my warden for power not str. On average for trash I get around 400 to 600 dps with no slacking with my healing. I do use the str heal line on long fights where I can melee. While I do not think it will make the raid, I feel for long fights free healing is always a plus.

I guess I feel for trash and some nameds mobs, while I am not going to be on the top list for dps, my wee bit I include does make the fights go faster then without. With the fast casting times with our melee, it's a one, two, three quick punch and I can focus on my healing without having to choose between the two. I did the quest for the cloak of flames and also have added in some items which proc haste. It will take awhile working on getting melee gear which also gives procs. Left over brawler gear I found I am bidding on if no main needs. With the new macro system for items I can change out quickly and put on my healing items as needed.

But the one-hander I would like to see put in, would be a one-hander for a healer, not dps class. Something with a proc which heals target xxx when a healing spell is cast. I've seen many crush items like this. I would like druids to be given a good healer slash item for weapon choices. Just edited to add that I am not greedy... would love to see furies be able to use the item also.

Are you regularly in the MT group, Layer?

Sorry if you'd already mentioned it.

Trash mobs, yeah any little bit helps put out a little more dps. I was just finding the amount of dps so negligible, and not getting a decent 1hs to help pump up my proc, that I went ahead and went with the agi/sta lines in kos AA, for the stun block and ae block.

Yes I am in the mt group unless not enough healers show up then I may be moved to the off tank group. I have been left in mt group even over a shaman or cleric also for named fights at times.

Pretty much since the nerf of the cures the only good use it had was to add 1k mitigation to the MT for 1 min, the resists are ok I suppose but 1k honestly isnt dick anymore anywho. I myself have gone down the movement and renewal aa lines for the double DI end ability and the nature walk for the movement line. Other abilities to get in the movement line would be your deaggro and SoW if you would like to max out PoTF for a little more miti or run fast. Granted theres not many choices for a raid warden this is what ive found to be best and the double triggers and reduced timers on your DI's has proved useful many times.
