I've been playing a warden since the beginning of the game and I love her. I don't care if the fury can parse 2k or what they can do. I just love my class. If the fury is better when you start counting numbers oh well. I distinctly remember up to level 50 when furies couldn't do crap compared to a warden and they got their bump.(Although they were in demand for that uber group invis ) They needed it. I'm a damn good healer as a warden and shes fun as hell. If you're into all the actual numbers and whatnot maybe go with a fury. Maybe you'll have as much fun on that class.

Play whats fun not wth makes the wickedest numbers. Unless of course whats fun for you is the wickedest numbers then have at with that!

80 fury looking to betray. It's my only alt. Really only reason it exists is it used to be my main. Well she is 80 and full AA and all adpet 3 no t8 masters ... (still need 7 more on my main first!) BUT her biggest usefulness is healing/buffing, i think i would like to betray so i could help heal in groups more etc. Dps means little from my fury now that my coercer can easily out dps her since the patch. Some questions i had were do i have to redo all the druid ring spells? I would be betraying and Evil freeport fury to a good Qyenos Warden right? never done betrayal fully had it all the way up to the "You are going to loose all your spells etc are you SURE?" box on my coercer but now that coercers are a lot better never going to betray.

so in other works what should i be prepared for?

much thanks

Druids are neutral so you're not tied to either alignment.

Wardens have little to no healing edge over furies. Our buffs are genuinely worse - at least a Fury has the INT buff for the mages and the agitate line for the melees. Who wants WIS or attack skills? Fighters and scouts in offstance are likely capped anyway, and bards tend to keep the HO skillbuff up. It's ok with the VP set but still not very sought after.

I don't think you'll have to re-do the portal spells but I could be wrong on that one

Honestly, what are your reasons for wanting to betray? Wardens probably have the edge as an instance healer with the right AA spec, but raid-wise - we offer nothing that the Fury can't match or better...

Hmm we got infinite power with epic and furies still need to use hearts and shards on long fights but that's about it

Who cares really i love my warden

Furys need to use <3's/Shards?

I thought if we got low on power we just abused the Mayong/ToNT set when we got low on power like every other Priest!

I dunno about mana items for priests tbh i never bother with those

Only got 3 group power proc items to feed others (which is really useful for VS fight when i can't use my epic) and that's about it

Reason I ask is, I was a Warden up until lvl 70, then I betrayed to a Fury for raiding reasons and I just don't feel like the Fury comes close to being able to heal as good. In a raid yes, because like (I think) Phay said the tank gets topped off pretty fast and the Fury has more heals that are suitable to that.

But when it comes to a group in a hard instance and the shit hits the fan I just don't feel like I can put out close to the kind of numbers I used to as a warden..
Lol i did the reverse arround 70 and went with a melee warden love it but then i still have another fury on a different account so the best of both worlds

I've leveled a fury and warden both to 80 and max AA, with their Mythical and I play them both well.

I prefer my warden for a number of reasons.

Heals. No matter what anyone here seems to think, wardens are hands down better healers than a fury. Regardless of Return of the Pack and Hibernate. Both are mediocre heals at best, being as Pack is situational and can't even be used on yourself, and Hibernate does what ... heal 10 seconds later? Even if you spec down and put points into it, it's not all that great. No thanks for me. A wardens heals are much bigger, and get even better with mythical and set gear.

Sure, put a Fury in a group full of people wearing chokers and they will do decent on the heal parse, but any retard can do that, and it doesn't make them better healers, or mean they are AS good of healers as a warden.

Agitate. Pretty much as worthless as you can get at this stage of raiding to be honest, and a warden with 6 piece gear gives much more utility with Instinct, than a fury with Feral. Feral gives STR and DPS mod, which both are easily capped. Instinct gives 7 DA and 10% accuracy which is much much more useful. DA is much harder to cap than DPS mod.

Purity. Furies don't get anything even close to this. The spell is amazing and everyone here knows it, so there's no need to get into that one.

Faerie Ally. Much better than the crap lightning pet Furies get, even though neither are that great, I prefer the Faerie Ally hands down.

Gale. While defense is a stat easily capped, as a friend of mine once said, "defense is defense is defense." -Wclarry. No matter how small of an increase, it's still an increase. In a non-raid situation, it owns.

Tree. While this is an irritating spell and I don't use it all the time, it has it's uses. Especially if your smart enough to properly place it out of people's vision.

Defender of the Forest. Personally, this is one of my favorite spells we get with the extra Focus. It allows us to use things like the Share Pain effect earring from the sisters in SoH without having to worry about getting interrupted with healing. Coupled with items that proc when you take dmg, that earring is one of the most OP items i've ever used.

Spores. Meh, it's a heal proc nonetheless but this spell could use some work imo. Maybe proc a chance to dodge or parry, or something, but either way it's useful when it procs and your tank is below a certain % health. Furies again don't get anything like this.

The only thing that I like about my Fury more than my Warden is the dps capability. Their nukes are great, along with Infusion spec, and you can put out some decent dps when not having to heal. Probably the only REAL advantage of having a Fury over a Warden.

I prefer a Warden over Fury just because, if I wanted a dps class I would have rolled a different class. Is the Warden class perfect? Not at all. It definitely needs some attention in a few areas, mainly AA's.
