Default Re: *NEW* T8 Warden Gear

Big update.

Changed over all the old Wayward Moon crap for Sylvan Moon.

I added a bunch of crap from RE2 in that fit into the middle and bottom of the lists (all 3 lists got RE2 loot added to them).

I added some SoH loot Ive thought for a while has been good but didnt want to type up why it is only situationally good. I went ahead and typed that all out.

I added a new section for power procs for others / group and moved the mana leak items listed in the healing gear to the new section.

I added a few pieces of new power proc gear for yourself (mainly a few new manawell pieces).

Should be pretty damn 100% for current.

Default Re: *NEW* T8 Warden Gear

I color coded the list to make sorting where each piece of loot comes from a little easier at a glance.

Contested raid loot is marked in RED
This category is for contested raid dropped NO-TRADE loot. I.E. These pieces must be farmed for by you and your UBER guild or looting rights purchased from your server's resident UBER guild. These pieces are probably only obtainable to a very few players in the top end raid guilds.

Regular instanced raid loot is marked in YELLOW
This category is for instanced raid dropped NO-TRADE loot. I.E. These pieces must be farmed for by you and your guild or looting rights purchased from a raiding guild on your server. Most of these pieces are obtainable by the players in moderately successful raiding guilds clearing Veeshan's Peak though there are a few notable exceptions (Trakanon and Byzola loot mostly). This category will have the largest discrepancy on which pieces are available to you and which not due to the progress of your guild and what they can or can not kill.

Heroic instanced no-trade loot is marked in GREEN
This category is for instanced heroic dropped NO-TRADE loot. I.E. These pieces must be farmed for by you and your buddies (group) or looting rights purchased from another group. This loot should be available to everyone who is capable of clearing the tier 8 heroic instances.

Quested loot is marked in BLUE
This category is for quested NO-TRADE loot. I.E. These pieces are GUARANTEED if you complete the quests associated with them. There is no farming for drops in this category. This loot is available to everybody and should be some of the easiest loot to obtain (aside from crafted and tradeable loot or items received from collection rewards).

Collections and loot that can be traded or bought off the broker or a faction merchant is marked in PURPLE
This category is for loot that can be purchased outright from a broker or merchant. The category can include attuneable legendary items, rewards for tradeable collections, or items that can be purchased direct from a faction merchant. I.E. Farm you some platinum and look for these items or collection pieces on the broker or go purchase the item from the appropriate faction's merchant.

Crafted loot is marked in GREY
This category is for loot that can be crafted. I.E. Harvest or purchase your materials and have the item created by a crafter or buy the complete, already crafted item off the broker.

You dont consider \aITEM -2009147494 1710861637:Rotten Chestwraps of the Guilty\/a worth having on the list?

Nope.The item is TERRIBLE.

Have you ever parsed the proc? I have and it sucks. 1x OLH > that proc. Ive seen that proc do 10k ZONEWIDE in VP for a druid wearing it. I can heal more than 10k with OLH on a single fight.

THE ONLY DECENT THING ABOUT THAT BP IS THE MITIGATION

Why even bother listing the item if it rates lower than the quest BP from Chardok?

maybe Im overlooking something ( im not often in the mt grp nor am i a warden )

why are you putting woodland leggings on top of abomination leggings?
wards > straight heals to me especially since the mt group is almost always topped off or topped in a couple secs ( this is for healing gear setup, obviously)

its like casting a group heal when everyones at 100% vs casting a group ward

maybe its good for ae intense fights but i dont see much of those lately, even tangrin

They are situational. Did you even bother read the notes I wrote for the leggings?

Bottom line is that the ward is a proc and the group heal on the Woodland pants is not. If the group heal on the pants was a proc then the ward would easily win.

Another thing to take into account is that the proc on the Abomination leggings will not stack with any other Runic Cover procs (chain pants off Xygoz and plate shoulders off Venril Sathir). If your cleric is wearing both items and your shaman is wearing the pants (which they should be) you will find yourself getting 'Will not take effect' probably more than you would actually get the proc.

For the Warden class and their general role in the MT group and given gear options available to the other preists not available to the Warden.... I feel the Woodland pants will offer more healing potential.

If you cant understand why the pants would offer more healing potential than the ward proc on fights where ranging the mob and meleeing the mob arent issues then perhaps you should rethink how you're playing the class and what exactly our role in raids is.
i did read the notes but your notes didnt say anything about the effect not stacking, it just said something about ranging the mob/not meleeing.. guess what.. my point was aimed toward being in melee range and getting the full effect of the pants vs a ward proc

I guess they are better, with that stacking issue

LOL I edited my post to be a little more user friendly. I didnt mean to come off as a dick. Sometimes I do though and I have to go back and reword things.

My apologies

By the same logic - Gaze of Trakanon > Arm for claymore Qeynos. What do you think about that?
