Plus to healing can be obtained on countless pieces. Even retarded trash drop treasured gear can have a decent amount of + to heals on it.

The + heals on Trakanon's gaze is THE ONLY REASON a warden would ever even consider wearing it. If you ever put on Trakanon's gaze for the power or the stats or the deaggro clicky please quit this game right now.

There are a grand total of THREE ITEMS in the ENTIRE GAME that increase our heals by a % amount. A % amount increase to our heals is by far the best proc obtainable by us in game. There is nothing in game that increases our effectiveness more in the area of direct single spike healing which is why we're normally on the raid and is where we fit into the mechanics of the heals.

If you really need me to explain it any further for you then... Im sorry you're still playing this game LOL

So you use your logic to backup an obviously weak decission on pants , yet the same logic dosnt work for symbols, huh? (a proc vs constant effect)
abomination leggings > woodland leggings of dawn heal wise, i tell it for sure because i have woodland pants and tested them, they good to parse on trash mobs, they heal on trash mobs, yes, but would you dare to melee any mob with riposte buffs, would you melee tangrin, any avatar? Ofcouse you wouldnt, most smart is to stay on maxrange and overheal, still you rate them high AS A HEALING GEAR. And your main argument is that they always proc wich is strange, the arm is a proc too and trakanon gaze has constant +125 healbolt, so you dont apply your logic there. Thats what I try to point out to you.

Or are you just selectively reading what you would like to from the list so you can be a dick and pretend like I'm an idiot who makes stupid gear choices?

Im pretty sure that line covers every possible situation you have brought up, and to answer your questions...

No I do not melee on Tangrin. Yes I do melee 'most' avatars and I do so without any adverse affects or taking considerable amounts of damage.

In these situations where meleeing the mob is a viable option it is clear that the Woodland pants will offer more healing potential than Abomination Leggings ESPECIALLY given the fact that if you can get the Woodland legs then you are in an avatar killing guild and your main tank group probably already has 3 runic cover procs in it because your raid doesn't suck and your cleric and shaman are geared properly.

So, what changed with OH nerf? Will YBH and CotPP be trashed out?

Also, about Abomination leggins -- seems that Runic Cover stacks fine, but wields on caster, not target, so by casting groupheal, or solo heal spamming I can has 3-4 runic covers on myself, but never on tank. Seems kinda crappy for me.

Yes, because you should totally trust SOE's shitty wording. The wards are on the other people in group, it's just buggy. If you don't believe me, invite a friend to group with you, drop all buffs and spam single heals on that person till you proc it. Then look at your spell effects window and notice it's not there. It will, however, be there for your friend, which you'll be able to confirm if you check the buff icons under your target window.

But seriously, yeah it just 'looks' like its stacking on yourself but its not. If runic cover is already on the person and yours procs again you will get a big fat WILL NOT TAKE EFFECT message.

And no the OH procs are still good. They just arent zonewide which is fine really because that really only has limited applications and even then you were prolly too far away for it to pick up on parse.

Is there a possibility that there could be a section added for ranking of heal crit gear? I know that there isn't much call for it since running pure heal crit gear would be removing diversity from the other important gear attributes, but seeing as everything else including melee gear is on the list, it would be sweet if there was a list of heal crit gear as well. IE, in attempts to get heal crit gear since I'd like to have a set of both + to heals and + to crits to swap between based on the situation and power proc of the epic (and since I can't raid to get the really good stuff), I've run into a problem locating a good set of gear, especially a chest piece with heal crit on it. (Pardon my lack of knowledge on gear selection, but I'm only 70 atm so i haven't had a chance to look around. I like to plan far ahead, so I'm already collecting some of the tradeable gear on my capped alts that I run alot, and have all my adept 3s and some masters for 70-80.)

Either way, it wouldn't be that hard to locate some of the heal crit pieces from your list, but it would be nice to have a list dedicated to the heal crits since the chest pieces for example don't have heal crit on any of the ones listed on this page. Additionally, for those of us that don't raid, or those that play our wardens as our 2nd, 3rd, or 4th class that don't have nearly as much knowledge of the gear options as you and the other hard core healers, such a list would help in addition to the tremendous amount your list has already helped.
