Re: REVAMPED WARDEN VP SET
Are you comparing 75 Haste/10% Double Attack to 10% Accuracy (a little more with +79 to all skills) and 7% Double Attack?
-You do realize how much Haste people have in raids right?
-You also realize Illusionists are generally in hybrid groups with no more than two melee classes(one of which, a Troubador) right?
-You do realize that a flat rate accuracy buff is currently more desirable than anything else towards a melee class?
I completely agree, the Warden class needs help. But that is not the answer, its overpowered.
As far as my suggestions:
-Change Winds of Artic Cold to Icefall or Dawnfire, it should be something towards heals but if it has to stay a nuke, make it one of those two, also for balancing purposes, the legs/bp focus should be switched, but since all others are that way, should just keep it.
-You could make the 4) focus change Instinct to a concentration required buff, as opposed to only one to be maintained, or a free-group buff, that way it actually costs you something.
-An appropriate 2 could be a buff to Tunare's Watch, make it heal xx% direct, and xx% every x seconds of group's max health when it triggers. It would eliminate the lameness of the spell, and that being the heal outdated. Which would mean it might actually save the tank from a double-attack kill shot, that should have been nullified from the Death Intervention in the first place.
-?) xx% avoidance or block chance to Gale.
In addition, don't be dumb when setting these stats.
For example: On the forearms, if we are putting the strength to use, we are not putting the intelligence to use, if you put str on shit, put wis on it, not int. The same thing can be said for the individual effect on this: +100Spell&CA? Give me a break, CA&Heal is what it should be.
-On "Heal" Pieces: +Heals/+Spells or one of the other crits, sta/wis/int.
-On "Nuke" Pieces: +Spells/Heals or one of the other in crits, int/sta/wis
-On "Melee" Pieces: +CA Damage/Heals or one of the other in crits/double attack, str/sta/wis
These suggestions probably aren't what you want to see, but as far as defensive healing goes, and utility thats probably about as good as you could get without breaking balance scales of set pieces. Its the Warden classes spells that need to be looked at, spells that never changed with game mechanics from fucking ages ago.
I'm all out of innovative suggestions anyways, used them on the Fury set.
