So, when you can't melee most mobs either due to aoe or dmg/stifle shields, is it a viable way to bring some 800-1000 dps via infusion? How many proc items will it take (considering wearing fabled epic)?

1K probably not but 600-800 easy..
And btw it's totally not true you can melee all trash mobs up to CoD (maybe in VP gonna test it soon) but on nameds can't do dps alot anyway and if you do better stay maxed ranged for the aoe etc.

Infusion is the best way to maintain any resemblence of dps while heavy healing. I have infusion on every mirror spec I have. Infusion is also a great way to compliment melee dps so I suggest going infusion either way.

The description of infusion seems to be throwing me off a bit.

In the description it says X amount of damage on targets in Area of Effect. But no matter what i do i can only make it damage one target at a time. I can damage all the targets around me with normal spells, nukes etc. (the "must be engaged in combat" part) but infusion still only hits one mob when i throw a heal.

Now, i have also noticed that if i cast a group heal it does do more damage to the mob than a single heal. Is this maybe to compensate?

Anyone have some insight into this ?

The description, unless it has been changed, says that it hits 'A Target in Area of Effect' not 'Targets in Area of Effect'.

Btw can someone confirm the REAL power cost of an infusion proc at lvl 80?

Can anyone inform me as to if infusion damages any mobs that aren't engaged in combat? Will it pull adds in an instance?

Just wondering, because I remember the proc adornment for a weapon decreased threat aoe, and always pulled adds in instances, until they fixed it.

As far as i understand it it will pull mobs that are not in cimbat with you. However when you are not in combat yourself it won't trigger at all

It costs 14 power per trigger.

It can definetly pull mobs you aren't engaged with, although Fireflyte seems to disagree with me! It only triggers if you are engaged with a mob, aka "in combat" the problem is if you are at a distance from a mob you are engaged with, and there is a non-aggro mob near you that you aren't engaged with, if Infusion triggers, it will pull it.
