timing purity with mobs that have stun effects make it a nice change

With all the control effect, I think it's a good change, we'll see when it goes in tho.

I agree making the spells recast time shorter and giving it some meat is a def bonus for us. You basically get a heal and a cure every 15 seconds were do you go wrong. The old one was one shot wait 1 minute and 15 seconds before the next. I believe this is going to be a vital part of our arsonel. jmo

Minor correction, you only get a heal every 15 seconds if an effect is cured. At least that's what I was seeing on test over the weekend. If it actually did heal every 15 seconds regardless that would make it a bit more useful. As I see it now it's new form will be a fire and forget on the MT as an extra backup, but not mission critical on most (if not all but a few) fights. The other option would be to continue to use it in it's current form of "oh shit, low health and multiple status effects" and forget that it's just going to keep ticking.

/sigh Apparently I need to retake a reading comprehension class, or at least more herbal supplements to boost memory.

Purity recast native: 1 min 15 sec
Purity recast with AA: 1 min
Purity duration: 1 min

So it looks like the AA will let us keep it up all the time since the recast timer is starting immediately.

Looking at the first page you will see that the Purity last for 1 minute and recast 42.4 seconds. Giving you the opprotunity to spam it before it expires.

I look at it like the clerics heal, it waits for something to happen before its used. Im curious to see how its going to work and how our AA are going to change.

Yeah thats exactly how I see it with this change. It is BETTER but since now everyone else can now heal 1 of each detriment at a time it is not great, it's just good.

These are just some random thoughts I had, some of which may be over powered or may be lame. I'm just looking to make this cure set wardens apart from other healers, atleast in a small way.

Make the Tranquility/Purty AA add one of the following:

-Make it also give power to the target when dispelling. Each AA point adds a percent of power replenishment based on the heal amount of the spell itself.

Example:
Rank 1 = 10%, Mheryl's screenshot stated 888 as the healing amount so 10% of 888 is 88.8, round up to 89.
Rank 5 = 50% so 444.

-Make it able to remove two detriments of every type. Each AA point adds 11 levels more of dispelling ---Because it does happen, especially when fighting two of the same creature that have the same spell list.

-Increase trigger rate by 1.2 - 1.5 secs per rank & keep reuse timer reduction.
Making rank five between 6s and 7.5s speed up of the trigger rate.

So I dunno, any other thoughts on some tweaks?

I think, unfortunately, that the power feed would be a bit overpowered, unless you limited it to one proc regardless of the number of effects cured.

As for making it tick faster, I just don't know how much useful that would be from it's current state. We're going to have to get a better feel on the existing first.

I do really like the idea of making it cure multiple effects of the same time at once, if they took away the recurring part. I think that would set it apart from other cures and make it more useful then the current "test" form but not overpower it..

The other possibility that I've been thinking through is having it lower cast time instead of recast. Right now if you have more then one priest in a group the chances that you are going to get Purity off before someone else gets "Cure" off are pretty low unless you tell them not to cure (and lets be honest it's gut reaction at this point to play whack-a-cure).
