The Fairy is very useful in a lot of cases, just not raiding. I got the M1 version of the Fairy and that lil' thing heals like it's on crack.
I've noticed that the M1 version she's healing people for 900 to 1000+ and she spam heals. Not only that she heals raid wide, so people that are out of your range she will go tag.

She may heal so much cuz of my gear My heal mod is well over 650 and in raid settings I have 80% heal crit. Also to my advantage I have the Star of Malice from SoH, which procs yet another heal pet that also spam heals the raid. Along with Blessing of the Prince, which procs a Innoruk Child into your groups backpack and whomever else you're healing. The child heals for 2500+ and can crit.

The fairy is not affected by your heal crit or you healmode. I got 70% heal crit or so and still the fairy is rarely doing crit heal or changed the amount of heal when i used dps gear that doesn't got alot +heal.. she's just healing alot but still only thing affect her heals amount is the rank of the spell.

I wasn't 100% sure if she did go by heal crit or mod or not, regardless tho she heals a good amount.

Its not worth putting a Warden in group one with the changes.

Explain this then:

2x raid

2x raid mob

4 Healers

MTG: Guardian (raid equipped) Templar, Mystic, and Inquisitor healing MTG.

Failed on 3 attempts in a row. Problem: Tank keeps dropping like a rock mid-fight.

Then we made a change. Swapped the Quisitor for ME (Warden) [Raid Equipped]

The next fight, complete Pwnage. The tank never dropped below 80% Health and the mob went down 2x as fast. MT never lost aggro either. And to top it off, I was in DPS Melee spec so I was not in my AGI/STA trees at all. (No heal crits)

Wardens are the RULE! Even in the MTG.

People who think wardens suck, just don't know any good ones, or don't know how to play one.

* Disclaimer - Yes there are other raids, and other factors, and I do raid SoH, etc... I used this one example because of how easily it points out a very big difference with only a small change in strat.

Sure, wardens can shine when it comes to picking up the slack, but that's never been the issue. Put us in a guild where, at worst, only a minor fraction of the other players suck and our value plummets. Or to put it another way, if heals are sufficiently covered by other classes, wardens have far less to offer over another priest.

That said, we're not a bad class, but the game has changed so much that what we once offered in terms of buffs/AAs is now obsolete or ineffective. We need a bit of loving to make us more viable under current game mechanics.

If you realized that Templars and Inquisitors didnt stack your post then might have been remotely valid. Throw a fully Treasured gear Fury in there instead of the Inquis would have also made a huge difference.

They stack as much as druids do. Group reactives will stack, singles won't. And there's no issue with direct heals of any flavor. I duo heal zones all the time w/ furies and just tell 'em to keep their single HOT off of the tank unless I'm incapacitated, so if folks weren't incompetent, 2 clerics would have worked out fine. The real question is, what x2 were they doing that required 3 healers on the tank in the first place? I can't think of any.
