Default So Hard For Me To Quest As A Warden

So I became a Warden like 1 month ago after 3 Months of being a fury in freeport. I'm level 53, and I'm currently TRYING to quest in lfay. Whenever I look for a group, everyone just wants to pvp or xp. I seriously just want to quest and catch up with the rest of my guildies. Anyone have a suggestions as to where / how I could change my style of questing to actually make it succesful?

Any help would be swell. Thanks alot guys.

Just bite the bullet and grind to 55 when you can start the KoS Basket quests and those lines up there. Lfay has a big gap in it between about 50 and 57 (as you have probably found out) for solo quests.

Also...have you tried enlisting your guildies (the ones you are trying to catch up to...) help for leveling? Get 'em to take you to Cache or Roost or some other instance where they can mentor you and maybe PL you a bit? I know no one wants to mentor on a pvp server...for good reason. But in an instance it's good.

Of all the healers you could be...warden is the easier one to solo quest with, IMO...specially on a pvp server.

I've gotta agree. Just ask them to mentor and zoom you through Cache, Roost, Vault of Dust, Poet's Palace, etc. Do each one of the t6 instances and maybe they will get AA in the process also. That should do strides for getting you to 60, after 60 things are allot easier to solo and there is a TON of fun content solo and group wise.

Thats what I did for my little brother when I was catching him up to my level, but we did it with t5 zones to get him to 50.(T5 actually had allot of fun instances, especially maiden's gulch(non epic) and MM in Everfrost)

I made a 70 Warden for t7 raids and now I have dragged him out of mothballs to get him to 80 I am having a real hard time at level 71 soloing mobs. I can kill em but it is so slow! I only have 76 aa atm cause I leveled to fast.
Is this the way it has to be? All spells are master or adept3. I have pretty good gear. Is there a secret to soloing Wardens?

For soloing through the RoK zones I found life a lot easier using the Animal Charm and switching back to a casting build as opposed to the melee build I used in T4 through T6. Though I have been told that a melee build works fairly well with the pet I liked being able to root and hang back.

If you're going to use the charm though bump it up to at least 6 ranks and don't forget to use the mez as well. Make sure if you're going to use a "melee" type pet to give them Instinct. Made a noticable difference.

In KP I found the Drolvag to be the most effective mobs (yeah they are animals, don't ask). For Fens, the panthers north of Riliss work well until you're high enough to start going for the Burnyai. KJ and JW I didn't really find one mob that stood out more then the others, but life was definitely easier with a pet then without one.

Use your roots. Use your snare to give you more time to re-root should it break. Use your nukes. Rinse and repeat in an endless cycle.

Hey Pondering, I'll give it a try. Thanks

Kosh .. that endless cycle is what I want to get away from.

...................... 4 hous later ...........................................

This is so much fun! I love charming and the mobs go down pretty fast if find a high level one to charm. Twenty six minutes goes by pretty fast. There are so many variations you can try ...fun

(whats instinct?)

It is the single target buff which increases the Crushing, Piercing, Slashing and Ranged of target, which at lvl 71 you would have the lvl 68 version called Primitive Instinct, it is a bear with an orangey background.

Nice thread I've been dreading the endless nuking of soloing several times but luckily I have a buddy (bruiser) to duo with. Excellent advice on the charm bit, I've been wondering if it's a viable way to go AA wise. I'll have to try it out sooner or later.
