Hii :D im new to wareden and after looking at all this im really dreading melee, i made a warden not to melee hehe. just wondering what the best aa would be as a non melee spec. looking for a good balance of heals and dps. thankkks

I don't melee or raid, I don't solo either because I have a perma group to play with at all times so my choices may not be right for you.

I maxed out agi and wis in the druid tree and in warden I spent points in just about everything but that stupid fucking melee tree. Not sure about the cure line now since the whole change to cures.

Rebirth is by far my best AA, I don't know why people put it down, it has saved us many many times during challenging encounters. If I die I pop right back up without agro and continue on with the fight, great for me in those rare times I actually die.

I have the nature walk (I think that's what it is called) AA as well, nice too.

I have Turtle shell but haven't used it yet, the agi line charm is nice for when I want to play around solo for a bit.

I am not ingame atm so I can't check my exact setup but thats pretty much it, well and putting points into the ae root, that's a nice spell for a soloing warden.

As always, YMMV, I am sure someone will tell you I am crazy and/or stupid, but oh well. They don't play my game.

You have to spend a shit ton of points to get a marginally useful ability ...when you could have enought points in INT to do semi decent DPS (when every little bit sometimes counts) and STA and AGI with enough points in them to have heal crits maxed.

This argueably makes you better able to heal..which is often what you are there for. You don't need WIS as an AA stat past about level 50 (and if you do, you might rethink your gear).

If you raid at all, there are far more people who do rezzes far better than we do - so it's a waste of points when maxed heal ability is more important.

That said, it doesn't sound like you are maximizing your character or taking the abilities that would be necessary if you are a raider, but that's ok. Have fun with it - that's what it's all about.

I'd be really curious to see how long you do keep this setup, though.

Try reading for comprehension, my post clearly states (for those who can read) that I do not raid, I do not solo either. I am in a constant permanent group. So, well, fuck you. I wouldn't raid in this game for all the tea in China and my gear is just fine for the game I play, my AA setup is just fine too tyvm.

Whoa, oversensitive much? If you read what I wrote, I said it sounds like you didn't take the things that would maximize your character for raiding, but that's ok, you don't raid...so have fun with it. This is offensive..how? Except if you are a douchebag.

I also was curious how long you'd keep the setup you have now, knowing it's not the strongest healer setup you can have...and knowing as you level you'll be getting more difficult content.

STA is absolutely essential if you plan on using your mythical/epic effectively end game, and heal crit is pretty much the equivalent of crack for Wardens.

Seems everyone is throwing out random opinions without asking what type of game you are playing (pvp, grouping, or raiding). But if they paid any attention instead of telling each other to fuck off, they would see your on nagafen so your AA setup will differ since your pvp'ing.

I would recommend starting out with upgrading your sow, root's and nature walk, that will up your pvp game alot right there. Next I would reccomnend STA line for heal crit and anti-stun's. If you really wanna beat the shit outta people you will want to melee spec, but if your against it, int spec will do fine for you. I heard WIS line is good for pvp but hopefully someone who actually plays a warden on pvp will confirm that.

I do actually play a warden on a pvp server, Veedub, and WIS is not helpful.

The setup you outlined is the one I'd recommend as well.
