WTF WARDENS

Opinions?

I'm leaning towards dead class. I'm seeing fewer and fewer druids around these days and even less top end game raiding druids (especially wardens).

If that were the case then all of the forums on this site would be dead, but I see considerable more interaction and posting in the cleric and shaman forums.

Dead Class.
Nearly nothing to heal during Raids, healers who dont need to heal can debuff, oh wait, done in 1 sec. When debuffing is done, we can do dps, awsome 2-2,5k zw.
I vote for at least 3 warden in a raid, because our utility is so great and our dps kicks ass.

Really. I dont know what soe wants us to do. a fury easily does more dps, every other healer debuffs more and every other healer heals more (we could heal more, much much more, but wards and reactives dont let us).
So I Hope SOE give the wardens something usefull to do during raids, except spamming group heals to let manaleak proc, if they dont, this class will die.

Furies are kind of in the same boat. When the raid leaders look at min / maxing and optimization it is clear that a mystic, templar, or inqusitor are all better choices buff wise as the DPS group healers. Sure a fury can do good DPS but inqusitors, mystics, and even good templars can do comparable if not better DPS.

Dead class - For now, I would've agree, throught Im uncontested in my guild and have a raidspot, so I dont care much since Im fine. Lets see what Shadow of Odyssey shall offer.
Dead game - I dont think so, since I can see people still playing the game.

Now what I think the reason for healer class forums are dull.
Healers in general have low skill level - its not like you need to know all the mob drops, have the optimal gear and do any dps - usually its not a prime request - you can put up any gear, push two buttons along with the cure and deathsaves sometimes and be a healer in a raiding guild and probably you will get away with this, as 90% of healers do im sure.
I bet the majority - simply dont care and dont need any information on the class.
If you play a dps class, say wizard of warlock - you need to know your class better, you need to setup an effective cast order, know the mob drops and plan an itemization, plan the encounter if you want to be the number one on the parse, well - and you are expected to be at the top of the prase. If you are a healer you can suck at this still spam overheal (pushing two buttons), probably even be n1 on the heal parse and say somethin like "WTF DUDES, I FCKIN HEAL!!!1111", probably nobody will ever tell anything, especially in a more casual guilds...
When you deal with a healer... well - its alot harder to call out a slacker, some people even dont know what deathsaves do, not saying anything about mob drops and correct itemization. Think that can be a reason for other archetype and class forums to be more active.

Probably my post is a little hating, but I SAW MANY healers who sucked and a few who're not, throught I keep my thought to myself usually... Sorry for bad english since its not my 1st language.

This (the warden) section has always been dead imo. I love healing on my warden, but like its already been mentioned, other healer classes bring more to the raid in most cases. That being said, I'd still choose to be a warden, if I had to re-roll :O Call me crazy or w/e.

I've seen someone say this before too, but imo its pretty fucking easy to spot a healer who is slacking. You can't tell everything from heal parses for obvious reasons, but you can still get a lot out of it. Also people who are screaming for cures give you a very good sign of who is slacking.

There are just a lot of bad, and by bad I mean completely suck ass healers out there. There are healers who reach 80 and don't know wtf cure is much less death prevention. A even higher percentage don't know they have a group cure either. I'd much rather have a wizard parsing 2k then a healer who can't cure.

It's easiest to spot crappy dps and tanks. Healers not so much, but it's still kinda easy. Now bards and enchanters though...
