Re: Need Some Help.. There are no Guides here but I wanna start one... Best Gear For Battle Wardens
I go melee specc'ed because i wanted to try something different for my warden. Frankly if you dont go pure melee spec you see a HUGE downfall in your dps. Now since wardens already have their spells and base stats for nuking, it is MUCH easier and more efficient to hybrid a healer/caster than a battle druid. Since there is a huge downfall in dps if you dont go full on melee, then IMHO i feel that pure melee and pure heal specs are necessary. Otherwise they might as well throw in a fury or a pure dps in your place.
However, if you do go pure melee and can dish out some nice dps (though from what ive heard, nuking wardens have always been more dps) and you have the ability to switch between specs fast. (i have a macro for my heal gear and dps gear...makes vp trash a little more fun) Then you become far more flexible in what you play and then you can still be there for the harder fights where a healer is needed. W00t for minor utility as a warden hahaha.
I go full on melee on easier fights and try to boost our parses...i just never said i was good at dps lol....still working on my DA

Re: Need Some Help.. There are no Guides here but I wanna start one... Best Gear For Battle Wardens
It totally depends on your group setup, but, as a Warden in battle spec, have you ever rolled with a berserker tanking?
+32 haste/DPS
+125 - 135 Strength
The group buffs we have make battle healers do alot more then they could do with any other tank in the group, and if you have ever had one, get ready to be suprised by a 2.1k Parse as a battle warden with a 3k heal parse.
My Favorite Setups:
Melee Mystic -
Templar -
Brigand(If I have a Coercer or Illus, I prefere Assassin Or Ranger) -
Assassin(or Coercer, Or Illusionist) -
Me (Berserker) -
Dirge -
With Battle Warden:
Melee Warden -
Defiler Or Mystic Or Templar ((Or a really good inq, not many on our server, but some can suprise you)) -
Brigand(If I have a Coercer or Illus, I prefere Assassin Or Ranger) -
Assassin(or Coercer, Or Illusionist) -
Me (Berserker) -
Dirge -
Think About it, its all about group setup.
Dirge - +24 Slashing/Piercing/Crushing, + 10% Double Attack, +7.5% Melee Crit, a Damage Proc that Procs off All your heal/Damage Procs!
Brigand - -3250 Physical Mitigation. (25% more damage for melee)
Berserker - +32 haste/DPS, +125 - +145 strength.

Re: Need Some Help.. There are no Guides here but I wanna start one... Best Gear For Battle Wardens
As for the group setups towards a battle warden... it only helps. A solo battle warden is not hard to create though, seeing as my own 80 warden (140AA) has 2 different sets of armor (dps & heal). With my HEAL armor setup I have 55% heal crit, 70% melee crit, 40% DA. With my DPS armor setup I have 35% heal crit, 90% melee crit, 75% DA. My DPS parse came out to be 1.3k on normal heroic mobs in CoA and Voes, where as my Healing Parse was 1.5k in the same zones with DPS gear equipped. My Healing parse is normally 2.5-3k on these same mobs while equipping my Healing gear.
If you have any questions concerning wardens, just send me a message via eq2flames. Thanks!

So basically your saying that our dps depends on our group setup? It all makes sense to me now!
On a serious note please stfu and go back to your forum as you obviously have no clue wtf you are talking about. No shit dps depends on group setup...
*edited for typos :P*
