Default Ideas for the Devs

In light of the fact that I haven't really seen much in the way of offering up for ideas for changes to our class or possible AA adjustments. I thought I'd offer up a few of the ideas that I've had for changes I think would benefit the class and make us more desirable. I could be wrong, but these are just a couple ideas I've had. I would like to see if anyone agrees.

1. In the same manner that the Warlock mythical gives them the choice to change their encounter-based spells to single-target with a damage increase, i'd like to see maybe an option that can be toggled, that would change our HoT's to direct heals, at a reduced over-all heal amount, and maybe a % increase on re-use time.

2. Instinct as atleast a group, if not raid-wide buff.

3. Much larger heals on the death-prevents.

4. Some form of a passive heal. I'm not talking about turning us into clerics or shamans. Maybe just a group wide heal with a limited duration...30 sec or so. (and I'm not talking about casting the fairie and waiting for it to get nailed by an AoE so it'll cast it's own AoE heal.)

5. A difference-maker buff. I just feel like we're kinda lacking that at this point. Not really sure what exactly could be added for this.

Anyways...just my thoughts. Would love to see what ideas others might have for changes.

I would rather see some sort of group utility effect on our mythical than something heal related, we are strong enough healers as it is. An easier fix would be to make our stoneskin an instant cast so it's actually useful for "oh shit" moments. Another thing that would be nice is to fix our delay to 4 sec's instead of 2.5 sec delay, would make more sense for a melee class.

Instinct as a group buff has been mentioned many times, it will be a nice addition to the spell but it's not gonna be the deal breaker on being wanted in raids.

Our DI's definately need an increase in the heal amount

We currently have 2 passive heals, the tree and the faerie. Rather than adding another it would be better if they just made the current ones we have more useful and less annoying. The tree is annoyingly huge, you can usually hide it in a wall but why should that have to be done? It needs to be made much smaller (maybe different graphic for it), needs more hp to survive weak ae's that would normally kill it, and needs something better than the weak HoT. I barely use the tree and for the most part most Warden's dont.

The faerie has it's nice moments, but it's pushing useless as well. Sometime's it bugs and will stay on a dead corpse, but usually it is constantly swithcing targets and never actually heals anyone. What would be nice is to fix the targeting issues with it and to add a toggle switch for the AoE heal so you can cancel the pet early for the raid-wide heal.

Our buffs do need work, we don't offer anything to help dps (besides the 1 person we can cast instinct on) and nothing defensive either. Gale is useless - uncontested avoid would be nicer than the weak + defense buff on it.

Our cure line is absolute shit, it should be replaced with new AA's that would implement some of these idea's or something to make us more useful.

Posting up your ideas to the devs on these forums is a waste of time. They will never read it here. This is more like posting up your ideas to a bunch of other Wardens who have probably already stated those ideas somewhere else.

Just saying if you really want these suggestions to reach the right people then take the right paths for submitting it.

The first thought that hit my brain after reading the title was: Ideas for the Devs: ...Get their head out of their ass? I probably have read too much Phay and Pinski, I used to be so sweet.

But yeah. I am pretty sure they avoid this forum by pretending it doesn't exist. Even getting suggestions to them via the proper channels doesn't seem to work - so ...GL.

Remove the mit buff from our cure line and replace it with a ~50h/t per rank, that would pretty much force me to seriously max out my cure aa. Along with reducing the recast time for purity, reduce the duration so it tic's every 9 sec instead of 15. Fix shatter infection so it will cast purity (or at least a cure: all) on the whole group when someone affected by the buff goes under 50% health. Purity being cast on the whole group would be awesome, the effect would definitely fit the name.

edit: mystic aa place wards on players in their cure line, pretty lame we got shafted with a useless, backwards mit buff.

/feedback, while in game. Be very specific and use exact spell names, best idea is to use the first incarnation of the spell AND the last in t8.

Out of Game
PMs to Devs on the offical forums, and posts help allot. Give allot of examples.

Purity: I think needs to be fixed. Instead of a minute long buff that ticks every 15 sec...how about making it a 10 sec duration, that ticks every second? After that inital tick, its pretty much useless. And even then, its quicker to cast Cure to get the effect off if it really needs removed quickly.

The Tree: I'd like to see the graphic changed to the bushes you harvest for the druid rings. Also, how about a proximity increase? The closer you are to it, the more it heals. Much like the Ranger epic does more dmg the closer to the mob it is. I know that'd make it a bit more realistic. Also as someone else already mentioned...more HP's for it.

For the record, I was posting this to see what other ideas people might have for change, and if they like the ideas I've put up, to encourage people to push for changes. I've done my fair share of feedback before.

Purity is only good if it can be maintained on somebody. Giving it a 10s duration with a cure every 1s would make it so you couldnt keep Purity up all the time. The change you propose would actually hurt the spell in terms of effectiveness. If you don't think it is pretty awesome in its current form then you aren't using it properly.

A better change for the spell would be to make the recast AA for it actually USEFUL. Aside from simply decreasing its recast it should also decrease its duration. So rather than a 1 minute duration 45sec recast and every 15s tick like it is now the AA would change it to a 45sec duration 45sec recast with a tick every 11.25s.

Also no change to our healing pets aside from outright making them AE immune is going to make them ANY good in TSO. You can make them heal more or give them more hp or tons of other crazy crap but the simple fact is that everything in TSO AEs almost. There is AE autoattack on 9 out of 10 mobs it seems and in raids the mobs 1 shot even the real players. Our pets dont stand a chance. They need AOE immunity or they need to be completely changed altogether to something that doesnt die.
