Could also be a RNG bug, or slight differences in raid performance or group makeup, or just bad luck if you don't have a large number of parses to compare...

Yeah I was thinking it was most likely due to the debuffs thing and basically it being an issue with swings taken during optimal debuff time (i.e. mitigation debuffs AND defense debuffs cause hitting is just as important as hitting hard).

UPDATED FOR GU52

Changed a lot of little stuff all over, but to sum it up.

Procs can no longer crit. This does not affect our healing gear choices at all really, but it has slightly altered our approach to DPS gear.

Combat arts now make up a significantly higher portion of our DPS than the spell based aspects and so our gear choices so should be slightly more combat art bonus oriented when possible. Spell crit chance, base spell damage, and spell crit bonus should NOT be ignored however because they still affect our DPS (Glacial Assault, Infusion, Wrath of Nature, Precision of the Maestro, and whatever other nukes you still cast) but will affect with noticeably less impact now so we should prioritze combat art bonuses slightly higher than spell bonuses now for DPS.

Direct damage procs on your gear should also be reconsidered on a case by case basis. Parse each proc and decide if there is a piece out there with better autoattack bonuses or combat art bonuses because it was frequently the case to sacrifice a piece with good stats and bonses for a piece that had none and a proc simply because the proc would net more overall DPS. This is no longer the case since procs can not crit and now do significantly less DPS overall so your damage proc gear should be looked over again.

I have not been lvl 80 long so I am still learning (great write up btw). Do you reccomend having a hybrid set up for aa's or do you switch back and forth for raids and groups? I do have dps gear macro and would like to kill in solo situations faster, but when I started this toon I was thinking only healer. I really didn't realize how much wardens could dps. Is a hybrid setup acceptable on raids?

Sure. Hybrid setups work just fine on raids. The way all our key healing and DPS AAs are setup its possible to get both of them at the same time. Sure you can trade a few DPS AAs for a better more round healing spec and you do do the same with healing AAs for a better DPS spec, but you can strike a really solid middle ground to prevent frequent trips to ones AA mirror.
