Hello all,

does anyone know if Elemental Mastery, Nature's Storm and Chilling Winds from shadows AA applies bonus also to melee version of spells? If so, is it worth to invest AA to this abilities?

My guild doesn't use a Warden in MT group on Gynok, or any other fight for that matter (assuming at least one Templar and Shaman are online). So I'm afraid I don't have one. Rest assured though, the parse is likely to be pitiful heal-wise as said Warden should be curing and death-preventing/stoneskinning the MT.

I've read a couple of posts here saying that to do decent DPS I would have to use a good 2 hander. I've tried swapping in the fabled hammer from Woe or the staff from VP but I still do more damage with Mythical. Is it simply gear and I need to get more melee dps gear? I am running at about 100 melee crit and 80 DA right now.

With Mythical my max seems to be about 3k and using the 2 handers I can barely hit 2k.

The only difference in aa specs appear to be int, does infusion add that much to dps?

Are you spec'd for melee when you try this out? Are you using something to help you "time" things so as not to push off an autoattack? Like ACT or whatever the in-game thing is?

You mention infusion in a way that made me wonder. You have infusion on the 3k dps spec only? But on the 2k dps spec you don't? Is that right?

I'd guess it's the timing. Using the myth, with is short delay and hasted as you probably are, is one thing. Using a slower weapon, like that staff or that hammer, you really need to time stuff.

I guess it must be that, it just confused me as I didn't expect to do more with mythical. As for spec, no I was just in my normal heal spec and I don't have anything in the int line. My spec is probably a little bizarre, but I play on PVP and serenity is very useful.

I was looking at someone's stats in this thread and I am way low on a couple of things. My str is under 400, melee dps is only 5, spell crit is low. I do have the t4 bonus with instinct on but it is probably a combination of timing arts like you said and maybe missing with the 2 hander.
