in my raid group i'm at 100% heal crit after using a potion OR i'm at 108% heal crit depending the fight/group but never over 108% heal crit. Glad i got to spec out of sta spec for str so much more dps without changing out much gear at all.

With gear proccing my Tide of Healing does almost 2300 intailly and about 400ish every second Healstorm is around 1300 intailly and about 800 every 1.5 seconds.

Some VP gear with TSO gear. Have geared toward heal crit due to our now broken Mythical (soon to be fixed I hope). Run 88% heal crit and usually 102% in right raid group. Have 850+ to heals and with AA in TSO line my big heals are in the 2-3k range.

With you just respecing your toon, I'd say you are well on the way.

Solo, no potions or scrolls. In raids I typically run 98% plus, so I'm trying to gear towards more +heals to cap out some of the higher heals.

Healcrit, as with a lot of other stats, is almost completely dependent on gear/buffs. The STA line is a nice boost if your crit is low - but to say you suck is silly. You just don't have the gear yet or a nice Coercer with Empathic Healing or bard with DKTM to group with. Like a lot of raiding Wardens, I've dropped STA some time ago becuase I'm way past 100% crit even without it (Thanks to TSO raid gear mostly. I do keep the STA spec on the mirror for control-effect heavy fights though). Wclarry posted some great info on this forum about what gear to aim for, what stats to try and max. Follow his advice and keep working up that healcrit/+heals and you'll raise them in no time. Then you can worry about +heals, base heal mods, heal crit bonus, and other fun modifiers ;) You can definitely do better than 49% healcrit with instance gear and x2 raid stuff, which should be available to just about anyone. Looking at your gear on eq2players, easy stuff like 'Gift of the Queen' from Maiden's (RoK) would be a big upgrade and boost your crit/+heals, as well as more shard gear (and I think there are some healcrit charms from the merchants in Moors). Compare to Larry's thread and see where the easiest improvements can be made.

I used to be at 92% crit but since its not needed at all to have that high crit i have lowered it by switching out some gear with heal amount instead.

Right now im at 75% crit and 985 heal amount. You dont really need more than 60% crit. Go for heal amount instead since that will make you crit alot higher. I dont have anything special gear wise, mostly t2 stuff, some fabled and myth.
