Thats all I'd add, and its the same average sequence I follow. When switching weapons from my secondary weapon (dps) to the mythic/epic, I have a macro that casts both Healstrom and Tide.

Default Re: Casting Order

I precast Purity and keep it refreshed whenever it's avaialble. I treat it like a 'lotto cure' for lack of a better term.

Everyone else's cures and heals are adequate for most situations, but with Purity being constantly on (usually ) the MT in a raid or group, it checking every so often has saved the day in many situations.

If I was to wait to cast it for an incoming detrimental that was timed, it would be wasted in the pile of cures and heals from everyone else.

If I could do the math in my head to cast it exactly when it would check perfectly against an incoming detrimental (that might be late), I'd do it, but mostly I just keep it refreshed whenever available.

The only time I didn't use it on the MT was an experiment on the Overking Fight. I kept it on a Warlock who was taking care of the adds, just to see if it would help, and it did. He remained cured, unstunned and healed through most of the fight allowing him to be extremely instrumental in blowing up the adds.

Hope this wasn't a derail, just wanted to comment on that positioning in the above casting order.

Here is the ideal TSO raid casting order.

Cure
Cure
Cure
Cure
Cure
Cure
Cure
Cure
Cure
Cure
Tide
Cure
Cure
Cure
Cure

Why not Winds of Healing first? I start off with Healstorm because I have seen it reccomended on this forum but sometimes I ask my self, "Why am I doing this?".

I'd say it's because healstorm is the longer casting spell and you want to get that ticking and available again sooner.

Not sure though, i really just mash cure buttons and can't remember which is which between the two group heals without looking at them.

Thats precisely why.
Longer cast, longer recast on Healstorm. Its better to get it ticking and the spell refreshing sooner.
Winds of Healing is always up to seems to me

Another reason I cast Healstorm at beginning is due to the amount of heath returned with the HoT per tick. I have found it helps immensely to keep the group up on the initial AE's that go off on most mobs.

Default Re: Casting Order... Tortise shell

I searched Warden forum and found no discussion about the following.

Under what circumstances do I cast Tortise Shell?
and
Under what circumstances do I cast Hierophantic Genisis?

I was in my first raid as Warden and managed to stumble through and keep everyone alive but imagine there are some important things that a Wardeen should know during a raid. Does anyone know where I could find a discussion of this topic?
