PvP and Melee AAs

Just for fun, started a warden on Naggy to see how the other half lives. Getting my ass kicked some, but giving back OK enough to get myself a title and having some fun with it. Just curious -- For levelling, a lot of people suggest the melee aa's and the STR line. So far, I've gotten myself Nature Walk since I'm on a PvP server, and I'm looking at the melee stuff now. Anyway, curious if any of you pvp wardens would recommend the melee lines for solo / groupage?

I did a search here, and didn't see anything specific to this spec and pvp.

My brother and I duo a Shadowknight and a Warden on Nagafen and after he finished Naturewalk he made a B Line for force of nature. In a duo / small group setting for both pvp and pve we completely destroy. He does really well solo even. I think its a solid way to go for leveling and playing around on Nagafen. In the lower tiers melee spec priests can completely dominate if played properly. The only downside to the build is it forces you to go Str gear and such and as a result your power pool suffers so you cant really stand up super long fights, but its not really needed with the extra DPS.

After Force of Nature it really depends on whether you want to go a more defensive route with Sta line and heal crit or go a more offensive route with double attack and Str line.

Well, I hardly feel qualified to post after WC-Larry, but I'll give my two cents.

As a warden on Naggy myself, the melee is wonderful for PVP. Your DPS is pretty sick, and around T5, I had lots of compliments on my DPS and didn't lose very many pvp fights. I mostly duoed with a coercer at the time, but I could handle myself fairly well solo as well. That said, once I hit T8, melee seemed far less viable, but that probably has more to do with my gear being healing-focused for raids and not having a dependable melee gear set (yet). Go melee for pvp.

Incidently, I mixed and matched gear to balance strength and wisdom and that seemed to work well for me.
