Re: Power Regen
Need you? Are there any other items that would be better suited. From what I'm seeing in the eof gear is that they seem to stray away from flowing thought a lot more than the kos gear. Do you think this was because the itemnizers realized how pointless flowing thought actually was, or maybe that they put a little too many flowing thought items in game?

Re: Power Regen
see a example, just pasted a random fight on one EH run from logs.
HTML Code:
The Emerald Halls - [161] 16:27:34 | Sariah the Bloomseeker - [04:43] (28/04/2007) 19:07:50 | Gitana | Power Drain (Out)
Type Damage Ext DPS Average Min Hit Max Hit Resist Hits CritHits Swings To Hit %
All 2140 7,56 305,71 252 327 All 7 0 7 100,00
Mana Sieve 2140 7,56 305,71 252 327 magic 7 0 7 100,00
not even 5 mins fight, and from 7 hits proced on the sceptre, (just one item), 2140 power for me.
Me not good at maths (im a spanish fucktard anyways lol) but dont think any level of power regen on ONE item can give me same power in that time.
add to that the proc ticks from the mutagenic bp, cant find in logs that ones, and more items like the wrists from malkonis (who i not have) and that its more power then you probably need.

Re: Power Regen
To be honest tho... does anyone actually rely on regen and not use bags of potions, hearts, signets? Really just keeping the manastone hotkeyed and not wasting mana healing a tank at 100% it is actually very difficult to 'run out' of power. That being said tho, when the mob is at 30% and the tank clearly has been stable, I burn all my power nuking. Left over power, to me, is a waste.

Re: Power Regen
How does your power hold up on a measured forcibly contained fight, like the Crap encounter?
Yes, I'm bringing up this encounter yet again because it is the only encounter that I know of that dps is throttled, and power is drained. Being the only fight that I know of that can measure the staying power of the relative power pools.
I can honestly say that when I do the crab encounter I always have more power than the other healers, but I'd like to see some comparison with the procing items, and flowing though.
The items that were mentioned here take up three slots, primary, chest and wrist. There are a few more slots that have flowing thought on them, and I'm wondering are there items out there that would be better suited to switch out, say the head slot?
The relic helm has FT8, 110 power/health and 20 wis. Thats it. Is there something out there worthy of sacrificing the FT8? Does it have a focus ability, or will it be a straight sacrifice?

Re: Power Regen
Last time I bothered to parse it, my hat was giving me roughly 200 power/tick. Extrapolating from that, the band would be about 50 power/tick and the sword would be about 75 power/tick. FT items are rather insignificant in comparison.

Re: Power Regen
Do they not stack? Does FT not stack with the power regen of those other items?

Re: Power Regen
well on crab u can just stay out ae drain range when hits :P
use ward cold/heat then stay at 25 meters casting group regen, can move in/out when needed :D
the ward does half the healing there if u time it a bit. Can outparse on crab a shaman healer just cause the "cheat" ward
items for replace relic hat ? any other imho
hollyhock diadem on +35 to heals for when healing
chitinious leather cap from MO on proc dmg for when nuking
crown of enlightenment (stun loving) for when dueling :P
and the skullcap of the dark master from contested mayong better then all the above :D

Re: Power Regen
how do you check for power regen?
I know I added up my FT items (including SoB) and I think I came out to 19 or so. Before I stopped playing (two GU's ago) you could stack the FT to 23 before it didn't make a difference.

Re: Power Regen
I use profit UI which has a place in it to show power regen. I think though, its under your player window somewhere. I checked it last night and I've got 115 in combat and 531 out of combat, while in raid. I'm evaluating the impact of each item, and what would be more benficial to replace first, and so on.
