I have a question for the new expansion. Primarily seeking Larry's opinion here, but also looking for others or I would have PM'd him.

Warden, Templar, Defiler, Troub. Which one would you spend time leveling first in the new expansion, assuming you wanted to raid end-content with a reputable guild and played all 4 with similar decent skill.

Have to agree, our guild leader wants our main toons ( mine is my warden) 90 asap... after that, I'd probably start leveling troub.

From your post, I assume you don't raid at the moment? I'd say level the one you enjoy the most, to get raiding, then level the others at your leisure.

I do raid, but interchangeably with the mentioned toons as needed. Wardens in end game content ..blah blah blah....

What I don't want to do is level my Warden to 90 as fast as I can only to find out that 90 is more of the same...which it kind of looks like it might be - and then be behind the curve with the other toon (s).

If there's a class that looks like it's actually going to be able to make a consistent contribution, I'd like to focus on that. I like all the above classes pretty equally, although Warden is my favorite.

And yeah..Deannan, that's kind of what I thought - although sadly I'm liking Troub A LOT.

Wardens have always been useful for breaking in new content, and I honestly think that'll still be true. We've goten a few decent things for keeping groups alive, tho others have too. I'm going to level and keep playing my warden because that's my main and I'm still the only druid in guild.

Well if you REALLY want to know what I would do....
I would level my templar because I dont have any of those other classes LOL

All joking aside... Everyone else pretty much said it best. Do whatever your guild feels they would need most. Talk with your raid leader, see what class he needs filled, and level whichever one you currently have.

There really aren't a whole lot of flavor of the expansion type classes. No one class gets so much that people are going to be OMG WE HAVE TO HAVE THIS CLASS.

Things should more or less stay kind of where they are at in regards with what classes guilds HAVE TO HAVE on raid to win. Mainly 4 bards, 4 chanters, 2 tanks, and 2 templars / shaman (for the tank groups).

Eminaria is right though. Wardens did get some much needed loving and as a raid leader I will be using my guild's warden extensively in the opening stages of the expansion and quite likely into the end of the expansion as well.

That being said and having seen beta AAs and raided on beta.....
I'm still glad I decided to main change to templar.
