Default Cure change?

With the new cure change just wanted to see what other wardens are switching to for aa's to deal with having to cure so much on raids. they gave us more melee specced aa's for str line and i almost need to leave that line for shell and stun break now it looks. Stun break is only every 5 mins, plus the 10min use of freedom of mind, but that still would help alot now it looks. Hate took us over 30mins today and most of the time i was not even healing I was just curing.

I do not even want to see how bad Fear fight is going to be now. Not sure too many folks are gonna want to be healers in raids with this new change.

I absolutely hate these changes. I'm experienced at curing my group, but the amount of time and energy it takes to keep curing, keep debuffing, and keep warding now is way more stressful than it has to be. It takes a lot of fun out of the game, and there needs to be a way to balance out how important those cures are with how much work it takes to keep everyone cured.

I wish, as a counter to all this curing, they give us a nice heroic opportunity that did the raid/group cure, or something along those lines. Its never pleasant to be forced to not think during an encounter, and it seems <strike>that since the wardens have the fastest cures</strike> that we are being molded in to a 'don't think just cure' position. Less emphasis on strategy for wardens and more emphasis on this is your role, do it or we don't succeed. We really need an option that will allow us to do less curing by doing more thinking, and my first (and probably always will be the first because I believe HOs are severly under utilized) place to look is HOs. By that I mean that HOs leverage bonuses based on the cooperation of players.

Uhhh, wardens don't have the fastest cures. All priest cures base are the same, unless you're a shaman with STA line, or a cleric with the INT line you have the same exact cure spell as every other priest. Just wanted to say that since you seemed to think otherwise.

Maybe they could give us the faster cure option in eof instead of the 3% higher resistance for a short duration bullshit. Resists do not even seem to matter anymore. It is only on a few fights that i see this change making a difference really, but it is more of a headache than making anything that much more difficult.

Just curious, why then do we get primary responsibility for cures if they are not the fastest?

Because the Shaman and Clerics have longer casting heals with their wards and reactives I'm guessing. From what I've seen druids have the fastest casting heals, making them more able to quickly respond to cures.

And druid heals can tick while they're curing.
