Warden Epic Weapon Ideas
What Epic weapon type would you like to see in the upcoming Rise of Kunark expansion? Also, what procs, and stats are you looking for on an epic weapon designed for the warden class?
Personally, I'm divided between a Scimitar, and a two handed Staff.
As for procs, if it was the scimitar, I'd like a decent group buff proc, hastes, strength, stamina, whatever just something that benefits the group thanks to our 'melee' ability. Or it could be determined on hostile spell, and count for CAs and well as Nukes.
If it were the two handed Staff, then I'd go with a much bigger proc on beneficial spells. Since you're making up for missing a buckler, the stats also have to be really incredible to choose it over a sword and buckler.

Personally i like the idea they had going with pris 2. I would be completely happy with a newer version of pris 2 but with better stats.

Power proc and heal proc, please, and one-handed. Bread and butter stuff
And +STR, STA, and INT. No WIS please, I already have 800+ and the returns have diminished greatly.

How about a whip? Something like "The Vine of Tunare" or some shit like that. As opposed to the standard Scimitar, Staff or Hammer.

Well in that case, hehe.
I think windle has the right idea with other stats other than just wisdom, warden's have no problem getting their wisdom up. Maybe throw some strength in there for the melee wardens, int for caster spec'd, and some sta just for the hell of it. As for solid numbers on the stats I wouldnt be too sure on that.
A 1h scimitar would prolly be the way to go, something with a decent delay (again for melee spec'd wardens). That way we can still use shields or use 2 symbols.
Weapon attributes...
- Cant go wrong with some flowing thought (15 or so)
- Wouldnt recommend the +healing stats since that doesnt go well with druids, maybe instead have a heal crit % attached to the weapon.
Weapon procs...
- Maybe a power tap of some sort? Somethign along the line of on a successfull beneficial spell/attack (melee or spell dmg) can increase pwr by x amount?
- Maybe even something along the line of the healers pris 3's effect? maybe a little more powerful of a heal increase?

Increases power of caster and target of heal by 257 Increases total heal amount by 20%
• When Equipped: - Increases out of combat run speed of Warden's group by 10%
- Decreases spell and combat art reuse times of Warden's group by 7%
- Increases melee critical hit chance of Warden's group by 2%
- Increases spell critical hit chance of Warden's group by 2%

I like the idea of a weapon that adds a little offensive punch to a group because that's an area where Wardens are almost completely lacking.

Well, i'm bored and will throw a couple random ideas out. I assume the stats and hp/power are all ready sorta of ballparked set so will just throw some numbers out for visual sake. And i also suck at naming stuff.
45 STR, WIS, STA, INT
225HP/300 Power
+25 healing to Sylvan line
+55 healing to Verdant line
+75 Healing to Regrowth Line
+100 Fire and Cold Damage
(+Healing for Wardens pretty much sucks for the Directs heals since it applies the healing evenly over all its tics, for instance your typical +100 healing to Verdant Bliss would translate to +9 healed for each tic(11tics). The idea here is directly add +healing to EVERY tic like Relic legs do.
Tunarian Spirit
When Target casts a beneficial or hostile spell casts Tunarian Spirit on caster. Triggers 1.0 per minute
All your Beneficials Heals and Nukes will return 10% power of total beneficial heals or hostile nukes to party. Lasts 8 seconds. (i.e. a 1000 damage nuke would give group 100 power), a 500 regen tic would give group 50 power)
It would also have a right click effect
Emerald Elixer 3.5 Minute re-use
Instantly finishes all your group regens, single regens, and direct heals on target for their maximum potential. So say you have a single regen, and a group regen each ticcing for 500, a total of 2500 each) You click this and your target would be instantly healed for 5k. Idealy it should calculate any tics all ready going and exclude them from calcing the total heal.
And yes this is a similar thing WoW has, buts its a cool idea and doesnt mean it can only be in one place.
