I just got off test server, and while Sentinels is geared more for PvE now than PvP, it's actually stats a rune priest would actually want. The bonuses all make sense. And the set bonuses on all sets are similar now instead of +39 to strength or some retarded shit.

I don't know about other classes, but Mythic definitely looks to be fixing the retarded end game gear. Now if only they'd make the game fun they'd get $15 again from me.

The game is fun if you don't try to grind the same shit over and over. Instance dungeons 4 hrs a day. Same scenario 84 times a day. Flipping keeps like assclowns. DO. NOT. DO. THAT.

Mix it up. Play different classes. Play different realms. Play different tiers. Play with different people. Do different things.

Any game is a piece of shit snorefest if all you do is powergame. We both did that shit in EQ2. We both did it out of the gate in WAR. We pretty much deserve what we got in both cases. The difference is, in EQ2 I never really found my way out of the tangled web of endgame raiding, and in WAR I did actually manage to step back and ask myself why I wasn't having fun... then fixed it.

In most of your posts that discuss MMO's you act like "fun" is some objective quality of a game. Like there's some Fun-O-Meter that everyone can rate a game against. I don't want to shatter your fragile worldview here, pal, but that's not how the entertainment industry works. >_<

/shrug Powergaming is nothing so terrible, but I can't see it working except for a game such as WOW with its millions of subscriptions - only with that kinda financial power, a company could cater to powergamer needs (by publishing new content in rapid succession). I am not saying Blizzard is doing that. Bummer, actually. I can't understand it either - the more subscribers, the more cost efficient is every piece of content created by the company - and the more subscriptions they should gain.

If i "powergamed" WAR then what I did in every other MMO i've ever played deserves a whole new name. And what dakis is really really merits a whole new category of gaming.

Other than the DDH kids, I don't think anyone that was burnt by AoC power gamed shit in WAR. I didn't play for over a week and a half at one point.

If everyone has to turn into an adamperson to enjoy a game and have 50 alts on the same server. If everyone has to turn into dankshasta's and roll little twink alts on other servers to enjoy the game. I don't exactly rate that game as great stuff. What's really confusing is one of the last times I talked to you in game before your big speach on how "Ossot you're acutally loved by the communities.. err wait.. you dont understand them" speach was your stating you were almost done with the game, bored as fuck, and the only thing you had to cling to was your alt. Now you want to castrate me for pointing out you ran the fuck out of content.

Know what we said to fags in AoC early on? Stop powergaming, omgz, they'll add really good stuff soon.

Now the excuse is simply that if you're still not having fun you don't understand how to have fun.
