Except when you fight against unorganised retards and wank off to beating a semi-afk muffin-munching fat unemployed pig who plays the game as casually as Chapel below. The truth is, you pvpfaggots, that pvp battle is not scalable in difficulty. Taking a keep from some hobos is not a challenge. Taking an undefended keep isnt a challenge either. Beating a script can be as hard as it is designed for - meaning potentially harder than beating any human opponent.

Playing warhammer non-casually is fail because you have to rely on the opponent being available and in the mood to put up a fight which nobody can guarantee. Coordinating guild nights is a nightmare.

Great, casually.

Well pvpfag... so in essence Warhammer is not a game where you can achieve and progress something, since all you do is pvp, ding rr80 some day, and thats it. Improving your toon in pvp is impossible if the best armor isn't better than solo quest rewards. If I wanted to play a game like that, I'd take a fricking shooter. Not some shit game where you have to fucking grind levels and I get stuck in any pixel-high obstacle, or you have to stand still to use your abilities. Fast paced pvp action? lols.
wow, you truely are a moron that is sure he already knows everything about War...dude you have no idea, you don't understand the progression or what you can achieve and you think pve is superior to pvp.

This game provides pve that appears to be, and rewards you, just like pve in any normal game. You just have to fight, omg other players. The biggest difference in this one is you get no real advantages except the ones that come from having the skill to think and react quicker than the next guy or set up a better group.

Theres just so many people that just want to have everything come so easy just by commiting half their life by leveling and gearing up. You're right a shooter is the game for you not a well thought out MMO with PvP progression

Btw playing warhammer non-casually is wtf easy, theres thousands of people online on my server at 5am in the morning and sc's are popping or people are trying to ninja keeps and push zone control. Stop talking like you know everything, you obviously don't

You can buy one piece of each set from the renown guy in Altdorf. There is rr46 stuff, rr6x, etc. And afaik you need rr80 to wear the orange king set.

I dunno about other classes than priests, but pumping points into raw stats is not that useful. The heal crit in the last tier of the renown points is nice ofc. But otherwise... /shrug Not really what I call progression. It's just the usual bait to lure you into grinding that shit.

No, I haven't. Had I been, I would have another mind set, wouldnt I. I still don't see the point of a game where you primarily do pvp, but you have to level up and grind up till you reach max rank - so as to have a clean slate again. Just a fucking road bump. Much might have changed with the latest improvements on drops from keep sieges, but it's nevertheless true that before you had to grind pve - bastion stairs, sigmar crypts etc to get better set items.

Anyway - and this is still my main problem with WAR - why the fuck would you invest so much fucking time and effort to get the uber orange set - if it doesn't give me any bonuses in pvp, while pvp is allegedly the main occupation of any player in WAR? It's like struggling to get the best car in the world in a biker game. What for?

Apart from saying that I have no clue, you're patheticly struggling to make a point. Try some lessons? I dont even know what to reply to you since you're just babbling horseshit. Are you saying leveling up and gearing up is for idiots? Are you saying pvp should be all about quick reactions? Why then progression? I recommend you drill a hole into your head to let the shit drip out.

I don't get why you play a game with 0 PvP where your goal is to

Kill raid dragon 500x
Everyone gets their gear from dragon
SOE releases new expansion

Repeat.

The difficulty of your game only increases for ~3 weeks and only when a new expansion is released. After wards it's just a new grind, basically a level grind all over again, except you just kill the exact same mob once a week.

The difficulty level of a PvP game never decreases, and if anything, only goes up as your competition becomes better organized and geared.

I'll make it easy for you because you obviously struggle with grasping other people's points without them laying out every detail. You can progress through PvP, as a matter of fact you HAVE to progress through PvP. The problem is you don't get the retarded advantages in this game that you normally get in MMO's. You also progress through getting PvE gear that helps by giving you wards designed for encounters that are unlocked through PvP.

The game is somewhat complex and people with low avg to below avg I.Q.'s struggle to grasp the details and revert back to fighting timed A.I. encounters over and over again to attempt to gain advantages through selling their soul to an MMO. This tactic fails in Warhammer and some people just can't accept that.

You have to have SOME skill to play Warhammer every second of your life is not necessary, its just not a gear up, mash buttons, and call timers type game. There is progression, its just appears unattainable if you play the game wrong from the start.

This post is the equivalent of me doing as you ask and drilling a hole in my head. Post a valid argument or don't post like you already know everything and you're the authority on War failing

Warhammar for you want the better PvP/RvR. Apart from that it's a fun but there is just something missing.

Gave up on VG in beta so no idea how its come alone.

That's basically it. I am quite surprised though you being such an outstanding player didn't experience a tad more in your 7 lvls of play though.

tbh though i always hated eq2. I mean, what's with that noob island. feed the crazy eagles.. kill bears.. kill bears.. wtf imo.
