I've played with the changes. I hit t4 and did some rvr and the zerg was unbelievable. The only thing I found enjoyable was scenarioes, and oRVR in t2-3. I had a blast until I hit level 32, and from there on it was a struggle to log in.

this, except my ironbreaker hit 36 before I was done.

eq2 and wow have spoiled me beyond hope of repair, I just couldn't square myself to the fact that I was supposed to run into the enemy zerg and die to the massive sorc+magus+marauder aoe over and over again in the name of making the purple bar move right if I was lucky and order managed to pull it out and cap a keep/fort.

if they didn't, I literally wasted hours of corpse runs and rez delays.

not my game, I'm sure it's great for some but definitely not for many.

We had a huge imblance of Destro vs Order on our server, that made it suck.

It was huge fun till I hit 40 and did most of the Tome of Knowledge shit, but seeing the end game gear sets and the shitty pve that was at that time required to get the next best gear set, and the shitty risk/time vs reward in open rvr, I just quit. Also, my class and race sucked a bit (elves, archmage), and Gaycom didnt change/buff/consolidate the class and race, so fuck them. Also, massive destro zergs vs 2 order groups, and only serpents anus passage popping, and the fucking overdone CC just pissed me off.

I played WAR in beta and it was quite fun to take over keeps. in release it was all about scenarior, how fun. Also it felt like I was playing a boring version of WoW. Almost anything WAR has - blizzard has done better

Moreover, there were a 1/7 order/destruction-ratio

Been sayin it for months.. WAR is just all the bad parts of WoW and none of the good.

except i'm not trolling like billy there. I'm dead serious and most the people I know who've went on to WoW for the first time afterwards realized it.

A lot of people that went back to EQ2 from WAR basically said "it looked awesome and stuff at first but then we realized it was EQ2 Kylong docks just without the frogs so.."
