I only played beta and that was enough for me, I can't even begin to name the number of people that played and have quit already. Also your avatar is so old hat.

I want to try WAR but I don't think I'll like it. A real life friend praises it up and down but I don't know.

Was expecting more from it - but it is what it is, that being a fun game to jump on for a little bit, find some ORvR and then log.

I didn't expect shit. I was playing AoC expecting that not to suck. When it did I went to something new, WAR. It sucked, so now I'm back to EQ2.

Hard to expect much when they throttle the end game and provide no reason to fight anyone.

eh yeah it really is about the endgame. the whole game takes a different turn once you hit t4. they changed orvr to have influence set up kind of like a PQ so after killing people and attack/defending forts and keeps you can choose from some pretty powerful weapons and armor, which changes from each campaign. the PvE in the game sucks ass but thats not really what it was designed for. you cant play the game like eq2 or wow and expect it to be fun. its also hard to get a grip on what the game is really like if you just get chars to around 20 and quit.

And to the other scrub that just posted. It wasn't the PvE that sucked. It was their whole base of the game that sucked - zerg PvP.

its far from zerg pvp "scrub." once you actually get a group of people that know what they are doing the whole zerg thing just does not work. like putting lemmings in a blender.

Ya. There was another guild on my server that was a lot better than my group. They sacked a fortress with THREE people.
