What's better since release?

Fresh off spanking out the new content(ish) in EQ, I started having dreams about WAR again....

IT R TEH SUX! posts need not apply.

By no means am I huge fan of the game, but a lot of the shit inside of it was neat. Just wondering a few things

Things any more balanced between the two factions?

Public Quest contribution any better ( or better understood) at all?

Combat a little more streamlined and not so sluggish?

Quest rewards suck any less?

Plus, Anyone playing Order on Skull Throne? That's where my original char is, but I want to get in somewhere good, even if it's on a diff server/Destro. I don't honestly care.

no on the PQ contribution
quests are gay.
yes on the rest of the stuff
set gear is way better, there are rvr influence rewards for each pairing in each tier.
dont be a pussy, play open rvr on dark crag.

I would hope that the people who do wear socks change them at least once a day.

Besides, I farted on my keyboard and got to 80 in WoW, 85 in EQ, no desire to play eq2 again since, you know...I'd have to roll on your server and be a Gaige wannabe ( it's in the rules)

I picked up WAR about a month or so ago and my experience was both good and bad. The deal breaker for me was the fact Order-classes are overpowered compared to their Chaos counterparts.

Other elements like the poor AI also stink but I think the content (and world) is quite well done. But until they fix class balance you'll see a 3:1 Order to Chaos ratio as everyone gravitates to the better classes which makes RvR a joke and instanced battles either very frustrating (as Chaos) or trivial (as Order).

Every single server is very heavily Order controlled. That's the biggest problem with the game, as Niber said.

Man...I don't really get it. At first, Order was way way way outnumbered, and for the most part, out skilled. Now all of a sudden, Order just wafflestomps everyone?

I watched a few interviews where the lead dev or whoever the fuck it was basically said everything was fine. Wha?

When one side systematically rapes the other side, everything is not fine. Depressing, because I really wanted to play me some Chaos. It took me like an hour and a half to reinstall and patch, and I don't know if I want to play or not. Gah...
