Im wondering wich spell is better given we have 0% casting speed bonus and 0% spell reuse bonus. And how this comparsion changes once we get TC and Zet proc up? (takin into consideration our spell rotation line)

With the plethora of +spell damage gear out nowadays, I find myself casting dissolve and flames of velious more. I think acid caps out at around +200 SD, whereas I haven't found a SD cap on dissolve yet. And flames benefits x2 from spell damage.

Acid is much higher on efficiency in T8 than it was in T7 especially with it being a master 2 option.

And I'm not sure... but I have over 600+SD and it's still boostn acid. I think what it's doing is it boosts the dmg of the initial tick but when it calculates the max amount of +SD for the spell it takes into account the overall dmg of the spell.

Flames of Velious is great efficiency and should be cast right there with your normal rotation.

If you calculate the spell efficiency of Acid at M2, it's pretty insane. I can't remember exactly but it's upwards 2300 when Distortion I think was 1600 or so. I can check when I get home from work. Don't forget that it's a REALLY fast cast and can NOT be resisted. Lead with it, and keep it up!

Wow Saltaf, you are right. The cap for spell damage *is* calculated with all the ticks of the DoT included.

Our guilds is dabbing into the T8 raiding, and I was wondering if it would be better to M2 scourge than Absolution. I'm not aware of how many multi-encounters there are in the next raid zone sets... so just wondering if any of you have an opinion.

Well, personally I - would've put that under question... maybe you're right - im using it in my casting rotation after all. atm. but im thinking on throwing it away... im playing on a localized server and I wont see rok till january i think, so this problem is still has actuality for me.
