Yeah, there would have to be a lot of mobs for me to cast it mid fight, but its damage is so low its not a bad option for some precasting as the pull is coming.

/shrug i think the spell is badass. I mainly use it when I have focused casting up or JC on me because of the longer cast timer. but the damage output is decent even on single target. Does about 700-1k+, at Adept 3, ive seen for the most part each tick. plus the fact it pretty much is invincible makes it much more better.

It's great for mobs w/ aoes and mobs that impair the caster when you do dmg to the target.

Highest hit from it that I've seen so far was a pair of 1690s was a crit... was the only thing that could have done the hit.

yep

Since Acid Storm generates hate directly to the warlock and has no hate itself, it will never be the target of a mob unless the situation is tampered with (sleight of hand to swarm... if it can)

I have to say, I'm loving this spell. Was lucky enough to get a master 1 drop in a group. Using it whenever I can :D

Checked a few parses. 500 dps on singles, 1k on group mobs, but that's on green TnT mob, not sure if level plays a role with the spell like with Broodlings.

Level 80 Warlock with Adept III version with Int around 900 raid buffed. Hitting for 850 or so on Epic Mobs. I have seen it die on some mobs, but when it stays up and gets all 14 attacks off it is pretty sweet.

Its ok, as people said, too slow of casting.

Also a word of warning, watch out for pathing issues with it. It follows the same horrible pathing that mobs do, thus bringing back anything with it. for example, If you are in CoM and you happen to be standing on the wall, Acid storm goes flying down the wall, across the courtyard and then to the mob. On the way it brought only 6 other mobs with it.
