Default BOE & Aura

So my understanding for BOE is that it caps at 50% of a spells total maximum damage. Thus, for Aura which is something like 700-1000 for three triggers the total cap would be 1500 (1000 * 3 * 0.5). Last night I was running about 750 BOE but noticed that removing / equiping my Sol Ro cloak had no effect on the damage of aura leading me to believe that 750 was over the cap for Aura.

I removed all of my gear to confirm that reactives and the 1/3 rule didn't get broken somewhere along the way and that appears to be working so I guess I'm just curious if my cap calculation for aura is wrong or if there is a bug going on here.

Default Re: BOE & Aura

+spell damage doesn't apply to Aura, just like it doesn't apply to all other reactive damage spells.

It's ok, you can go cry with the coercers =)
