Default Macroing heroic opportunity into our spell line

Well my question is on the subj.

I want to macro some heroic opportunitys into my spell lines, is there any point to do so? Wouldnt it mess into some bard mechanics wich im (shamefully) not aware of?

Also im looking for your opinions- where should I implement this macro - on wich spells it would work better in say solo mob spell rotation (i use the classic one - biggest nuke possible atm)?

In a raid context especially when u're in group with an illusionist and a wizard u can just have each one of the 3 mages chain start HOs whilst u cant make your casting order around always having Distortion up hoping to be able to complete the Lightning HO when the illusionist need less than a second to cast the beam and u're screwed. First of all u're losing dps as saving Distortion when u have the option to cast it is not something i'd recommend, and actually most of the HO's that i complete are with either dissolve or nullify else u prolly gonna lose your chance to the wizard or the illusionist. Macroing that kinda stuff is imo a waste of time since the results are too uncertain and u can't control what other people are casting.

Let your scout start the HO, theirs are much better than ours.

In disregard of personal DPS numbers, what is better for the raid in a whole? Are heroics worth to "design" spell rotations towards them?

in general they aren't worth working your whole rotation around imo i finish them if a scout starts them, but i don't go out of my way for them

Not a warlock but a wizzy here, i have my Ho starter macroed into ball of magma same as distortion, my macro has it cast HO starter, then BoM. I may or may not even trigger the HO starter i really dont care, but it is free dps if it does trigger. BY having the actual spell at the back if means if you quere the spell before you can cast it will simply skip the Ho trigger and go to the nuke.
